Actually, I have titanium alloy shinpads, with kevlar covering. They will stop a round from a .22 (although not at pointblank)... Proper hockey is a lot more violent that you might believe...

For the corporate ass pounding huh? Gotta love those shinpads to protect yourself with . Lets not even go into the gun collection here - I played Ice Hockey for a good number of years. . . I watched the guirls field hockey team play quite a bit and man are they vicious.

Oh jesus... Never EVER under any circumstances play against girls at hockey... What they lack in speed, physical strength and (occasionally) skill, they make up for in pure stick-swinging malice...
