I just got my first taste of it this weekend. I may have to purchase this game. Not one for sports games unless its racing, but this looks like a winner!

Just looking for opinions.

I played it at my friends this past Saturday (he recieved it for christmas) and it's not a bad game whatsoever. The gameplay, GFX, sounds, etc are all very good.

That's cool. I didn't get in depth or anything or really explore some features within the game. I played him in 2 exhibition games and that was enough to make me like the game. If I had the money I probably would buy it.

I have NFL 2K3 and believe me, it beats Madden 2003 on almost every level. The only thing it lacks is depth in the franchise mode. But you can still do pretty much whatever you want, just not as many things as in Madden.

But the graphics are top-notch, the sounds are great, and the ESPN presentation totally owns. And its $20 less than Madden. Believe me, Sega knows sports.

I'll check it out. The franchise mode is going to be hard to beat though. I like anything I can have total control over. The game doesn't feel so scripted that way. ;)

Read my review in the Game Reviews section. It should tell you everything you need to know. And by the way, the franchise mode is great in 2K3, just not as intricate as Madden. But it's still really deep.

Well, it was the number 1 selling game for both PS2 and Xbox last year (2002), so yeah, i'm pretty sure lots of people are into it.

Saving everything in NFL2k3 only takes up 2MB. But if you just save franchise and haven't done any major things it takes up about 600kb.
