I would love it if they brought in some euro hot hatches, the lancia was great and all but maybe some older euro hot hatches to race against the demios when you start off the game. STuff like the Vauxhall Nova GSI, Astra GSI, Fiat Uno Turbo, Renault 5 GT Turbo, Peugot 205 GTi. These cars are proper fun to drive in real life and would make a great adddition to the lineup in GT. Im still unclear on the issue of ///M vehicles in the bmw lineup, will there be any? i hope the E30 m3 iz in there, its a racing legend.

i also hope for hot hatches cars like the Renault Clio williams and 205 gti would be brilliant

as an M Tech BMW fan, I beleive that there wont be very many BMW's of that kind in the new game, just a few 3 series here an there. Myabe we might get some older hot hatches, just have to wait an see.

The more the merrier :D

A Seat Ibiza Cupra Sport would be good too, but a 1.7 1993 Seat Ibiza SXI (?) would suit me better since I own the crappy 1.2 model, still got 70hp mind :)

But my crappy car with like 150bhp :sly:

Current Seat Leon Cupra R, that car is awsome. Beats the hell out of the golf GTi. Also Renault 5 Turbo, that car is fast as hell.

Wouldn't really be classing the Lancia Delta HF Integrale as a "hot hatch"...

Some of the warm hatches are great cars - but the one that appears in GT3 was slated by everyone (despite actually being good in real life). The Yaris T-sport (aka Yaris 1.5 RS, Vitz 1.5 RS). It just seems people want as much power as they can get their grubby little mitts on...

Talkin about control. Id also like to see some of these mid engined monsters back, GT2 had quite a few classy racers, emphasising more on balance of power & control rather than just sticking some turbos on, this is what made GT2 so different from GT1.

and this!
sorry about the colour, it is French!

by the way, how do you post pics in with your msg, i always have to attach them & i dont know how to attach more than 1 @ a time.

If they're on the internet already, copy the URL of the image and slap it between img tags... If it's on your computer, host it somewhere THEN do the above.

When you post you'll notice a bunch of tags you can use above the box you type in. Click on the one that says "IMG", type the image's URL, then click on the "IMG" box again. Do this for each one.

BTW I know it's your topic and all, but not only did the Elise GT1 handle awfully in GT2, and the XJR15 is awful in real life, neither are really "Euro Hot Hatches", as such...

i didnt really add them as hot hatches, i just loved them in GT2, the xjr15 was great fun to drive didnt drive the Elise Gt1 too much to be honest but it has great specs and some sort of reputation on the track in real life. cheers for the help wit pics, much appreciated.

Hmm. The XJR15 wasn't in GT2 - the licence at the time was held by EA for NFS2. In real life it's probably the worst handling 200mph car ever created, and the one-make series based on it lasted 1 season.

The Elise GT1 was driven once in real life. Ever. And it didn't manage to build any reputation at all.

the XJR15 was one of my favourite cars in GT2, its available in the pal version thats for sure, you can buy it for 1000000cr from jag special. It was available alongside the XJ220. As for the Elise, there are at least 4/5 different versions of the car, ive seen myself a blue 1, the black 1, a racing spec with yellow & black. WHy would all of these be made & not driven, i read an article on the net about this being the fastest lotus to date (long time ago) so i dunno how they figured that out by driving it once.

The new Renault Clio V6 is missing from that list.

2003(or 2004?) Renault Clio, V6, 250hp, 5.8s

There are also the two Golf GTi's (1.8T and VR6), dont feel like gettin stats on em right now... Im a lazy ass ( see avatar :) )

No it isn't. The list is for hot hatches. The Clio V6 is NOT a hatch.

I have NO idea. But it's an MR, 3.0 V6. The engine is where the rear seats on all the other Clios are. There is no "hatchback" for it to BE a hatchback.

The key factor - other than the existence of a hatchback - for a car to be a hot hatch is the power+practicality. There is no luggage space at all in the Renaultsport Clio V6 250 - you can fit a bag under the bonnet (hood?) and whatever you can get on the passenger seat.

It's a laugh to drive though :D

That's a still shot. There's no driver in it and the wheels aren't moving...

According to the site you directed me to, only 1 road car was ever built, with "several" race cars existing. It was engineered for the 1997 GT season - but of course as we all know the rules were changed that season, leading to the still-birth of several cars - including the TVR Speed 12 (which has since been redesigned and redeveloped).

Show me the results of ONE race the Elise GT1 finished (either making the distance or not). THEN I'll believe you.
