Couple things in Detroit yesterday.

Some diversity in the car spottings today!
Started off with this amazing Volvo 145 Express:

Not many left of these. Volvo really made a station wagon even more station wagon-y with this one. All of these usually lived tough lives so seeing one randomly in the metal is pretty rare nowadays.

After that, this 992 Targa GTS with a Taycan behind.

(That humongous Mini really does a poor job trying to hide behind the Taycan).
Man, do I love Porsches ”new” take on Targas that really connects them with the early ones.

In the evening, at a truck stop, I stumbled upon a truck with some notable cars, like this Bentley Arnage and the very first generation of Porsche 996 GT3:

On the same truck was also a couple of Cayennes and, odd enough, a VW Golf mk.3 convertible in a seemingly poor condition, probably in the beginning of going through some sort of restoration. Missed taking a photo of that one, regrettably, but can be seen peeping out behind that GT3.

Apologies for no photos, but yesterday I saw one of the new Honda Preludes driving around, in Old Saybrook! I also saw a Pontiac Vibe last night in Mystic, and I can't remember when I last saw one of those.

All of these were just today from a trip to go visit my sister. Two I couldn’t photograph because I couldn’t get my phone out fast enough: some sort of large JDM van, and a third-gen Viper coupe.

Second car in the line is an Ineos Grenadier.

Saturn Sky Turbo.

Mitsubishi-built Dodge Ram trucklette. I haven’t seen one of these in years.

Full-size Ford Bronco in a very cool two-tone.

Lincoln Mark VII. Might be an LSC.

Pontiac GTO convertible.

AMC AMX. The real two-seater, and in a very nice orangey-bronze color.

Looks like a hearse from the late ‘40s/early ‘50s?

Twofer: first-gen Bronco and a first-gen Camaro.
