Maybe before I die. :P I'm having enough trouble finding the time and patience to get from level 28 to level 30 as it is.

Seasonal events help..You can get there if they keep releasing seasonal events I guess, but once you do them all then you have to sit around for the next batch to arrive.

mhm, i was hoping to stay away from the 24h races, but i see i have no choice :/

I'm "finished" with the game now that I'm at level 37. Have no real motivation to replay Lemans 24h 5 times more. That's a one time achievement. Nurburgring 24h should unlock right after you are finished with Lemans.

i sure hope someone will, to see what u get! ^^

Probably a standard Skyline, or another useless standard car!

And you get to buy one more X1 to errrm... To grind more and earn another 20m Cr.

Oh, man. I think I'm going to over dose on all the fun!!

I think that they could solve the issue by giving credit for "time driving" after a player gets to a certain level (or before). It's not the 9 hours, itself, that is so intimidating; it's that 9 hours on one track is just boring. If it were for "real" money, that would be something else. Or, even allowing the player to choose the duration of an event. For ex., four hours on the Nurburgring isn't so bad; but, having one hour, two hour and/or other duration events would allow people to fit the game into their schedules more easily. Like many players, I have no intention of doing a 24hr race multiple times, maybe not even once. That's just me, though.

agreed mate!

lol, that's all? :)
so the improved damage and all that crap was just BS?

A lot in GT5 has turned out to be nothing but BS.

I'm at a spec 32. Have bought almost all the Premium cars I like and will start selling/gifting all my standard cars soon.

Will still have to grind for credits if I want two versions of each car (one tuned, one factory default). But there is no way I'm going to leave my ps3 on in longer endurance races just to grind for XP.

From here on out, it's about me driving the cars I like for fun offline or online with friends. The rest is history.

I'll probably keep doing the 4H Nurburgring endurance to get to lvl. 40. At least I enjoy doing an endurance on this track and time passes fast cause of the long laps. I just do it with a different car every time. Planning to do the 24H races only once, same for the 9H Tsukuba which I've already done.

?

Why?

And all the cars you like are only premium?

HD video export to YouTube. Poor shadow graphics. Full head movement inside the cockpit in all modes. There are many more. Search the forums.

Why only premium? Because I like the cockpit view. Even though it's riddled with glitches like the rest of the game. I play for fun. Hovering behind your car in external view is not fun in my book.

Why am I selling my standard cars? Because I'm done using them in A spec and won't be driving them any more because they don't have a cockpit. I might as well gift them to friends who need them or just sell them for credits. Better than leaving them in te garage. Trophies and paint chips mean nothing to me.

So essentially, you are playing Gran Turismo 5 for cockpit views.

Essentially, I play it the way I find it more entertaining. Not the way you or PD think it's more fun. Common sense 101.

I'm signing off before this goes more off topic. You got your answes.

it seems WAAY to hard!

You have the wrong definition of the word "hard", or life didnt throw anything hard at your face yet.

Getting from level 35 to 40 in A-spec is not hard, but just long and sometimes annoying.

Here is a quick tip.
Do Le Mans once using a LM race car, and you will have a 24h challenging race.
The get the X1, and you should be able to pull on the side after only 18h of race.
Do seasonal events.
Start a car collection with all the GT5 cars.

I was 40 before getting bored.

Im level 40 a-spec and level 38 b-spec. Not that hard. but you have to max out level 40. Does not even give you anything for getting to that level. boring game now

I may be missing something here, but who says that you have to redo or even do the endurance races to get to level 40? You could just do some of the expert races over and over and eventually get there.

Agree on all fronts. I love cockpit view, why do anything else? Its a simulator!
I play the game just to enjoy the cars I hope I get to enjoy sometime in my life. My favorite thing now is to take a sub-300HP car around The Ring. Just pure racing fun! Level 21/19.

you could, but that would take ages! :/
but if PD keep on releaseing seasonal events, lvl 40 will get there soon enough!

yup, I am doing the 1st race in the dream car championship with x1 and rubber bands holding the controller to make car ride against the wall and enter button on keyboard to start each race after it finishes. Earns me xp and $108,000 and I do not have to touch a thing, can leave it for hours on end

I'm not having a go at you but why do people CONSTANTLY complain!?. Yes it took so long to make. Yes it was promised to be amazing. Yes people are dissapointed. Not Everything is perfect!. It's a computer game (Always Space for something BETTER)

I've actually given up on grinding. My buddy hacked a ps3 controller with an arduino board, allowing us to program button sequences. The controller runs a race, finishes it, restarts and cycles all over agian. Even with this thing running for several days non-stop we're still weeks from achieving lvl 40. This game is f*#$in ridiculous.

People had this weird tendency to not believe in their own ability, skills, but i do, and i did it. So it's not either impossible or hard. It's really up to you, either you want to achieve something or not. And committed to or not
