The little red shift light on the default hud if you look real close is a smiley face when its lit up red. Just top your car out on a long straight to see it lol. :)

I'm sorry, could you be a bit more detailed? Is it the rev limiter of a specific car? (like when going into cockpit view) or the general heads up display that is used for both A and B spec races?

Because...I looked at it up close and I can't see a thing. I might be wrong though...

I think you just got trolled. :sly:

Anyway, the only thing in GT5 that I can remember with a smiley face is on the taillight of the Blitz Dunlop ER34.

OP, perhaps a picture can help? :)

People notice some of the strangest things, lol. Who looks at that shift light close enough to figure out there is a damn smiley face in it, lol.

Apparently Projectoutlaw does...

When I'm high I see people driving X2010/2011 and they are pros.
Then I get my feet on the ground and realize they where simply noobs that bought the DLC and got a free car they don't deserve or should have until 20 levels later (lvl40).

Yeah because apparently using ABS (a feature thats been required for the last 2 years) now makes you a noob

someone give this guy a prize

I really have to see this before believing it... :odd:

Like Penguin mentioned. You showing us a picture of it would give your credibility a boost. :trouble:

Yeah I knew it, but I thought I could be nice.
I knew there wasn't such thing in the first place, but...what if it was an I was being rude in the first place?

Always gives the reason of doubt! 💡

My friend noticed it last night. He has a 55 inch that he sits a foot away from. Its the shift light on your default HUD next to the shift number. When its red it does have a very distinct smiley face. Its not there on accident, im sure its just an easter egg for the game. I had to put my face close to really see it. I recomend an hd tv lol.

And also NOTE its has to be red to see it. If its grey you cannot see it at all.

Why do i need to show you a picture, anyone can do it. I tried to take one but when i get close to the screen with a camera it gets blurry. Even easier thing to do, take any car into any track and just rev your car it. Put your nose about 6 inches away and its clear as day. I dont do drugs guys lol. Weed is stupid.

Nope brand new 1080p lg, love gt5, it looks amazing. I asked a few people last night to look and they seen it too. My friend did it on his tv and it shows up there too. Whats the likeliness of the tv messing up on 2 different tvs.

At least you can provide us with a picture.

Like i said, i tried and a camera that close to the tv makes the picture blurry. You will just have to try it. If anyone doesn't see it then they must be blind. Its not the clearest thing in the world but easter eggs are not always supposed to be. When my friend told me he seen it last night i wasn't even at his house. We were online together. It took me a second to see it but once i noticed it, its clear as day now.

lol yeah it kinda does look like that but if you look at the shadows of the arrow it looks like 2 eyes and a smile

No disagreement here. The shape of an arrow pointing down does create a :) -esque shape. If you reshaped the mouth to be more pointed towards the bottom that's what you'd get.

Thank god someone else finally sees it on here lol.

It's kinda like those ink blot picture things. You tend to see what you expect to see and maybe completely miss what's actually there.

Kinda like when I take a drink of Coke and expect Doctor Pepper because I forgot that I grabbed a Coke... the Coke ends up tasting like Doctor Pepper until I remember what it actually is. But maybe that's just me, and maybe I'm weird.

Yeah, I guess its all about perspective then. Somehow i just seen it when my friend said something about it online. I figured I could just say something on here and people would see it but apparently not.
