Anyone play GT in 3D?

Just picked up a new 50 inch Plasma. It's in 3D, but I have gotten the starter kit yet, as they are on back order. Just wondering, does Gran Turismo play well in 3D?

Thank you Poss81. I have heard that GT wasn't one of the better 3D games out there, but was wondering what other GTP'ers thought of it. How well does the interiors I pop out, I wonder?

Cool, so they treated the interocular and convergence properly then. That's nice to know. Out of curiosity, have you tried it in cockpit view? Same effect?

I'd love to pick up a 3D TV, but the prices are silly in NZ.

Just picked up a 55 inch Sony led 3d last week. Had to try GT5 in 3d, it was fun and kinda cool but not something I need to do every time I fire up the game. Definitely more depth in viewing.

It definitely looks good, and plays better than Black Ops in 3D. 3D in Black Ops really isn't helpful to your gameplay and infact makes it quite a bit harder. GT 3D doesn't make it harder or easier, just makes it a bit more fun to play, especially if you have a wheel and sim rig set up.

Avatar in 3D however is another story, it simply looks amazing, both bursting out of the screen and falling far into it. I guess James Cameron did afterall have a hand in the making of the game as well as the movie. I think I'm gonna D'load the Killzone 3D demo and have a look at it, to see if it can match up to Avatar, even if the game is crap.

GT5 3d isn't the best 3D, but it's 3D !!!

You can't compare to Avatar of Gulliver in 3D

Thank you KyleR. You have answered two of my other questions!!!! I have Black Ops and Avatar for the kiddos. Was wondering how they stacked up as well.

Thank you everybody for the info. I now have something to let forward to more than than just the Shrek movies that the starter kit comes with, (Blah!!!,) and Cloudy with a chance of meatballs, (double Blah!!!)
