hi, i m new to online racing events or any online gaming. My ps3 is modified so i worry about losing my games. Can you tell me how to get started in online racing?

i'm usually down to run but rather picky on the settings... I like them to be as real as possible as this tends to yield better drivers and races. Shuffle, spec, PP, does not matter as long as the settings are not arcade style. I'm in Aiken SC, so we would be in the same time zone.

I agree with all of this. I'll be racing a little later...about 10:30.

PS3 with a wired (no wireless) broadband internet connection configured to NAT1 or NAT2.
Then just go into the online menu within GT5 and find a race.
