Man each time I watch an episode, it gets funnier and funnier! Escpecially those stand-up acts :rotfl: How does he do it??

Puffy: thanks for the quote in your sig, that was one of my glorier moments :D

Yeah, I've watched Seinfeld since it started, and even though those last three seasons were more ridiculous, I enjoyed them too. What a good show.

I thought seinfeld quite seinfeld?? and the show was no more?

I love the humor in it, one of my fav episodes is the one with shrinkage.

Seinfeld did quit, but Fox still airs the show, and I never watched it before he quit, an I'm sorry I didnt. That show is truely funny.

that show is funny but the acting is horrendous, watch Jerry when he says something funny, he laughs while he's saying it

That was a legendary show!
Did anyone notice that none of the characters have a job??
Well, at least until people like me noticed. hey gave Gearge a job for the Yankees.
But what makes this show great is that all the different plots tie together!!

ok vinny listen up...

kramer is great at what he does (the jerky movements and stuff), but not the best all around actor.

and

what are you stealing my shows now, i always talk about seinfeld (thats my thing)

I'm not stealing your show, I'm publicizing it :D
You are still the best at the Seinfeldesque jokes (:rotfl:) but I rule at doing stupid stunts and antics :sly:
BTW: Jon, how'd you do on English?? I finished right after Bucchi.

Well, I was actually thinking of starting a thread on this show myself, but decided to check first so the mods wouldn't tear me a new one. therefore, a resurrection it shall be!!

I have seen every episode at least twice, and was sad when it went off the air. But it did have a spectacular run and enjoys the top-grossing sitcom of all-time position.

Anyone have a favourite episode or moment? Forget your favourite character, that will kill this thread faster than you can say "I love that crazy Kramer."

I like when Kramer goes to break up with his girlfriend and she kicks him out and he gets lost downtown. then he phones Jerry and the following conversation ensues:

Kramer: I'm all alone and I don't know where I am!
Jerry: All right calm down! Now look around you, do you recognize anything?
K: I'm in front of Ray's Pizza.
J: Famous Ray's Pizza?
K: No, Original Ray's.
J: Famous Original Rays?!
K: It's just Original, Jerry!!
J: Okay okay, what street are you on?
K: I'm at the corner of First and First...wait a minute, how can the same street intercept itself? I must be at the nexus of the universe!
J: Okay Kramer, no matter what you do, stay where you are. I will find you!!

It's the episode where Jerry's dating his cleaning lady. One of the best episodes IMO...

^i've seen a lot of Seinfeld, but that episode doesn't sound familiar. :(

💡 I should start Tivoing the ones on FOX. Is that even a word - "Tivoing"?

Ive had my fill. Funny at the time but no classic
I disagree with you there. In fact, Seinfeld is viewed by many as being the greatest sitcom of all time. It is the top-grossing of all-time and broke it's own taboo barriers while on the air. Now that the re-runs are syndicated it stands to make even more moolah.

Seinfeld is definitely a classic, and deserves to be included in lists alongside The Cosby Show, All In The Family, I Love Lucy and The Honeymooners as ground-breaking sitcoms...

Indeed, Anderton. Seinfeld is such a classic. I have all 180 episodes on my computer, and I've seen every single one at least twice (probably more for most of them).

My favorite moment is in the episode where Jerry points out that Kramer doesn't wear jeans any more. Kramer buys these painted on jeans, and it is hilarious when he can't sit down, etc. And when Jerry tries to take them off of him.

Also the episode where the plot is played backwards (and they all go to India, Elaine get drunk several times) it real good.

I always liked the entire series. THere are a few episodes that are just extremely funny. Some are just funny. Never saw one that didnt make me laugh. 👍

My favorite sequence has to be the parts with Bizzaro Jerry and company. Good stuff there!

In one of the last few episodes, there was a hilarious sequence where Kramer was watching Jerry's apartment and they showed everything he did. His physical humor is as good, if not better than, Chris Farley's.

I need to get the DVDs when they come out. I definately need the final few seasons episodes. They were the funniest, IMO.

Ah hahaha, yeah that was a good episode. The part where he's babysitting the little kid and he walks down the hall and hos shadow makes him look like Frankenstein is classic!

I especially like picking out little oddities about the show, like how Larry David is the voice of George Steinbrenner. I like minor characters that show up from time to time, like Maroon Golf from the "Puerto Rican Day Parade" episode (the black guy who fights with Jerry, a.k.a. Black Saab, in the traffic jam). Maroon Golf shows up in another episode, where George can't go out to the movies with Jerry because he has to spend time with Susan seeing some stupid chick-flick, and as he comes out of his theatre Jerry comes out of the adjacent one with Maroon Golf, and they're talking about how good the movie was (I think it was called Firestorm with Harrison Ford, fictitious of course)...Jerry says "What about when he jumped out of the helicopter and he was shooting back at them as he was falling?!" It was good because we're supposed to assume him and Maroon Golf are friends now? Or do they just use the same actor? I know I'm a major loser for spotting this stuff...

Yes! He spills the juice and wipes it up with Jerry's couch pillow (then wrings the pillow out so the sopped up juice goes back into the container), then takes apart Jerry's phone and it starts ringing and he can't answer it, then rearranges the furniture in the apartment, then puts on one of Jerry's suits and pretends he's a comedian, talking into a wooden spoon and saying, "So, what's the deal with politics? I don't get it...!" then throws a tea party for like 30 people...when Jerry finally comes home everything's back to normal but Jerry gets upset that Kramer (who's passed out on the couch) hasn't put a coaster under his drink.

They show that sequence in front of a lot of shows, as the "beginning" sequence before the first commercial when there's no stand-up routine or plot-related beginning for the episode.

I like the character of Earl Hafler (sp?), the Texas businessman who bets on airplane arrivals with Kramer at the Airport and is seen in a later episode when Kramer tries to go into business with him making authentic Cuban Cigars with real "Cubans" imported from Cuba...

The first three seasons are already being released in time for Christmas...Finally!!! I mean, every freakin show except Seinfeld is on DVD now, even The A-Team! It's about bloody time. The box set of Seasons 1,2,and 3 is a little expensive ($100+) but well worth it.

I watched the Soup Nazi episode today. It was awesome.

No soup for you! Come back, one year! Next!

That episode's great because it also features two other great supporting characters, the "Armoir Guys" who show up in other episodes as well, such as the one where Kramer goes on the AIDS walk but doesn't want to wear the ribbon.

"Who? WHO doesn't want to wear the ribbon?!!"

Do you happen to have the episode # of the one where he has the cubans making the cuban cigars? He had them living in his dresser, did he not?

I love Seinfeld because it always seems like every episode has two seperate plot lines (each charcter living their own lives, just like real life), but at the end of the episode, these two seperate plot lines kind of get intertwined and everybody's plans get messed up.

Oh yeah, those guys were hilarious.

"Well, maybe, he was talking to me. Was you talking to him? Because you was obviously talking to one of us. So what is it? Who?! Who was you talking to?!"

Kramer gets punked, bad.

You're confusing it with "The Checks," Episode 133. This is the one where Kramer hosts the three Japanese businessmen and puts them to sleep in his huge 3-drawered dresser (where they get trapped later on.)

The episode you're looking for is called "The English Patient," Episode 143.

You're welcome.
