If its not GT4 related then why is it in the GT4 forum? There are more forums than just the GT4 forum here.

Specificially, there is this forum called Drifting and Other Motorsports.

My thoughts exactly.....

no.

there is a better forum called Videos & Photos.

i mean, is the drift forum TOTALLY secluded from the rest of GTP? no wonder it gets a bad reputation. this is pretty ridiculous. 👎

you'd find that if you searched, you would find numerous topics about this already. thus, a need to create a topic like this is totally shot down.

thank you. close it up, swift.

Edit: whoops, you beat me.

^^^
note. i didnt post this bc the were hardcore drifters, i posted it bc it made me laugh that ppl could be so stupid. and you sir, have made me laugh yet again. :dopey:

Lol they're just rich oil dudes that bought a stupid hyundai to drive it to crap lol, they will just bribe those cops afterwards lol:lol:👍 NOW THAT'S LIFE LOL!!!!!:sly::cool:

Can't say I agree with the street stunting, but whatever it is they're doing, they seem pretty good at it. I was actually pretty impressed.

Though "keep it on the track" is still my mantra.

This is definitely not the first time I've seen this before, in fact, I'd say it's atleast the fourth time. At this point, I still have the same feelings as I first did. LAME! 👎:grumpy:

edit after reading W16 QUAD TURBO

stealing is lame, happend me and sucks big time 👎

but atfirst i was impressed too, worried about the car tough with that spin and like 4people in it humping :scared:
oh and the highway/sideway/lots of smoke stunt looked like rescue 911 :dunce:

well it didn't load (i'm on dailup) but i know very well what it's about (i'm saudi)

i can tell you that he isn't "rich oil dudes", in fact there isn't a single saudi rich oil dude, because there's only ONE oil company which used to be american, now it's for the government, so you should hav more "rich oil dudes" in your contry than i have.

back to topic, he most likely stole the car, he's most likely under 20 (but some guys are more than 35 and have children :scared: ) , they do get in jail for that but the scarry part is that he dosen't have to bribe the cops to get out (after all we are civilized aren't we) he just ask his 'friend of a friend' to get him out which he gladly do.

the government needs to work on this, but nooooooooooo, they only tell them to stop it but who would listen.

i've heared somthing of some car club (ya we still don't have any) but saw nothing 👎

btw: we call it skidding not drifting (altough drifting sounds faster)

I was impressed at first how they did some of that, but in terms of drifting, its not even remotley close. After watching, the impressive is gone.
Its fishtailing the car on purpose.

That's all they're doing. Fishtailing the car widely. Drifting may have some fishtailing in it (very small) but nothing like that. The car hardly stayed sideways for 2 seconds before it moved.

Its just fishtailing and spinning the car.
I see NO drifting in it at all.

Hey guys,
I'm not saying what these guys do is not crazy, all i'm saying is that is does take skill to do a thing like that.As for the stealing part,I have to disagree with W16 QUAD TURBO,cause this guy has his own website and he is from Abu-Dhabi.And i'm not saying he is rich, all i'm saying is he is a nutcase :sly:
So enjoy it for all it's worth, and lets leave it at that.

I heard someone else say it was called 'car spinning', which is a pretty obvious discription. I'll take your word over theirs though.
Crazy illigality aside, they are pretty skilled.

I think there are three videos like this
1) This one, I assume. Not downloading it because I think I already have it. It plays some bouncy dance techno and says 'BOBO' in the lower right corner, yes?
2) One with a black car, no music aside from the spectators car radios and no text aside from something I can't read at the beginning. All shot on one empty road out in the desert. I think this guy is a better driver then the one in the other video.
3) The 'blooper' reel. All of people trying stunts like this and failing. I don't think anybody dies. It starts and ends with a little bit of the trickling code animation from 'The Matrix'. I think it's also on this site somewhere.

I've been debating going into the GT4 drifting section and asking if they have any suspention settings for stunts like this, but it seems they're all just doing it in stock cars with skinny spare tires on. I can't figure out how to whip into a 220 degree slide, hold it for a second, and recover like the guy in the second video though (all while going in a straight line). Crazy skill.
