In just about every racing game that comes out and has relevant cars, I'm always curious whether or not they will animate 4 wheel steerin systems. So far I have yet to see a game that has done so on cars (I seem to remember Toca having it on the monster trucks). I know it's quite subtle with electronic systems like on the R34, but I'd think it would be a little more obvious on something like a Prelude.

As for the active aero, I know some cars such as the Enzo and Veyron have it displayed, but what about older cars like the 3000GT? I don't seem to remember that one being animated, after spending a bunch of time waiting for the proper version of it to come around in GTpsp.

Quite certain I saw moving aero on the SLS.
There was another car, can not remember which one.

I doubt the 4ws will be in. Do they even use that in any recent cars anymore? I know the early 240sx/Silvias had Super HICAS which is their form of 4ws and it made the car very unpredictable at speed. Pretty much every person that ended up modding those cars had it eliminated. Has 4ws ever worked well on a high performance level other than rock crawlers?

Are you serious, Skylin R34 has it. And would you label that car as non- high performance??

I hope the Lambo has it... In GT4, the SLR had working braking plate, cien had spoiler retract.... why wouldn't it be in GT5. Even GTpsp had it on veyron.. so... it'll have it 4 sure

Well I'm certain all the new cars that have it will have it in game, but as far as aero is concerned I was more wondering if they'd go back and add it to older standards.

yeah but I heard most race teams and highly modified cars have it removed. At stock form it does well to eliminate understeer, but at higher levels became a problem and less predictable. that's what I read somewhere so I might be wrong. And no the skyline is definitely a non- high performance.... only good for sunset cruizin....

moving windbreaking spoiler?

yes, the audi TT has it, even in prologue.. (premium car)

prolly on all premiums )with that kinda features)

i doubt that standard cars has "moving parts" of any kind.

Can I just say that if the Standards are just upscaled for GT5, then they will have moving spoilers. For example, in GT4 the McLaren SLR and the Chrysler Crossfire both had moving spoilers in GT4, so I don't see why they won't in GT5.

the current BMW 7-series has active four wheel steer.

My friend you need to study more before talking about engineering... GT500 monsters have RWD, so they are totally different cars in their suspension and transmission architecture. They simply cannot have 4WS. Why Mine's R32, R33.5, R34 all have 4WS with 600PS? Case closed!

My friend I didn't explain any engineering aspect of the 4ws. And no... I'm not an engineer. I said I could be wrong, and yes after a little research I find that a few recent vehicles still use forms of 4ws. But I wasn't talking about gt500 monsters. Also If you pay a little closer attention to my post you might realize that I said 4ws can make the car less predictable at speed. That is implying that the "driver" might feel the vehicle less predictable or just plain weird at speed. It's a love or hate thing, personal preference you might say. That's why a lot of people had it eliminated on the skylines and silvias, but some people liked it. I'm taking this from what I have read not personal experience seeing I bought both of my 240's without HICAS because of drifting. From what I'm finding more higher level vehicles tend to stay away from 4ws. And I'm sure if it had a great following more vehicle engineers would find a way to stuff it in. But again I could be wrong. Ya know I'm not an engineer... oh by the way I don't understand why people are so rude when they could just have a pleasant debate and teach someone. well I think I have taken this a little to far off topic so I will stop here... unless you "engineering genius" want to teach me the ways of 4ws you can pm me.
