Last few days since the new update and the free car, I have read almost people having the same whinge over and over again.

It's like they can't understand that the new car is a prototype and isn't tune able, might seem bad but come on, I am pretty sure you can't tune some of the other concept cars that are in the game either.

Same with the colour, you get "gifted" the grey one and you can purchase the red one in the car dealership.

Is this too hard to understand?

What is this? GT talk?

Half the population are below average intelligence.

If by "other concept cars" you mean the other C7 Corvette and nothing else, then yes. This was all covered quite extensively in the thread that already exists in the forum where this thread would belong if there was a point to it, so perhaps thumb through that before calling other members slow.

I'm disappointed, I thought this was a thread talking about member's who aren't very smart.

Most members are quite slow, but with determination and practise their speed can increase to a quite respectable level.

Half the population are below average intelligence.

And average is still kind of slow.

I think we need to install some sort of sound or something to dissuade GT subform users from posting in here about GT stuff.

So, are we discussing the intellectually challenged, or those incapable of acceptable velocity?

My lap times in GT5 aren't the best but I'd hardly say I'm a slow racer.

Wait what are we talking about?

If you concoct a test long enough and put enough numbers past the decimal point, no one will be at the median.

How many places would be enough though. Also not totally. Say we started at 100. (Average iq) If we make it 100.5, then it would be above average. If it was 100.528363, per say, it's still over. If its 94.84719, it's still below. It just depends on what half of the scale you are on.

If we got rid of them all, there would be no more people with below-average intelligence. How do we figure out who they are?

If we got rid of them all, then we'd have a good chance of being relegated below average. Unless you're at 160, I wouldn't feel comfortable about it.

Reminds me of an old sci-fi yarn about how humans are "special" people compared to the rest of the galaxy, populated by people with IQs ranging from 400-1000, who can mesmerize dumb old humans with a single word.

Funny. Your average 200 IQ point scientist can't fight off a grizzly bear bare-handed...

I'm still stuck on the question. o w8 mabe that the prblm

Your not-so-average 200 IQ point Shem can, so have no fear!

Is that on the Chinese Test, which is measured 10 miles an hour slower than the European test? :D

Truth be told, I don't have a 200 point IQ. But put me in a ring with a grizzly and I'll show you how fast I can run! :D

Well, I'm quite comfortable with this idea then. :sly:

Most average scientists are generally in the 130 to 160 range, I'd say :p Though, I do know how to deal with most wild bears, which is that you don't fight them at all! :dopey:

I'm actually curious to find out if my IQ has improved since I had my head injury 5 years ago. I was at an IQ of 121 and after I got my concussion, deemed worse than most NFL injuries by a doctor who worked for the Buffalo Bills at the time, my IQ dropped to a 73. I was pretty much medically confirmed as dumb. So yes I can be slow, yes I have a lot of memory loss, my mind goes blank in clutch situations and in all honesty I don't think it will ever return to what it was.

Always thought concussion IQ loss was around 10 points or less... not four times as much!

I wonder how much of it I lost when my head got split open by that pipe in College...
