are wheelie's possible?

hey i really need a setup for a 1970 dodge charger rt to do a wheelie if anyone can help please message me my psn is Ninja-Thats-Me im willing to pay anyones request for the price of the car being tuned for wheelies (gt5 Money )

i couldnt get my charger to do a wheelie

the plymouth hemi cuda 440 six pack 71 does them quite nicely though

keep in mind wheelies 'from a dig' are impossible in this game. you launch the car, then quickly shift to 2nd gear and then it pops up at about 25 mph

doesnt work online either , very anti - climactic

Sorry but before I switched to the T500. I was using a G27. I was able to slip the clutch from a dig and pull the tires.

So with that you can indeed hang hoops from a dig. ;) takes some skill. I race AWD and you have to slip those cars out the hole. As well I was drag racing before Drag Radials. So we did a lot street tire stuff. There again to get good short times on said tires we had to slip the clutch.

So with that note that I have a load of experience. However with some practice others surely can do it.

Takes a wheel with a working clutch. Let you know soon if the T500 will work. Awaiting the shifter. Till then clutch is dead.

I have over 15 cars from GT5 that can do power wheelies. Such are the Shelby Cobra, Lotus Elise, 4 different models of the Corvette, Plymouth Cuda, Camaro, Mustang, Charger, Viper, Challenger..etc

lol what are you talking about

you cant slip a clutch in this game. you are either in gear or in neutral

if that is to say, you launch the car, go into neutral, then go back into gear, and it does a wheelie, well thats NOT a wheelie from a dig

what i said remains true, it is IMPOSSIBLE in GT5 to do a wheelie from a standstill, just impossible, and these fake 1-2 wheelies or your 1-N-1 wheelies just do not count. sorry

Lotus Elise does them from a stand still smart one.

Never tried wheelies in a Lotus. Will have to give it a go. Is it something you can actually just romp in wide open and it pulls the tires? Does it drag the rear bumper?

Interested in posting video. Sounds cool.

I always used the Cobra. It seems so right with it's sound. That and parting ways with the clutch and manual kinda took the fun away. Loved shifting with wheels up.

does anyone no how to make a 1970 dodge charger r/t do a wheelie ? i need it do do one even a small one cawz im making a gt5 fast and furious movie with a screen cam anyone that helps will be in the credits and im also looking for a few more people wanting to be in the movie but first i need the charger to wheelie i will supply all the cars needed

I am sorry to inform you that you are wrong. My G27 indeed slipped the clutch it is progressive. This I promise you to be truth.

Only thing I failed to film was doing so. My camera had locked up and did not replace till after T500 set up.

I sold the G27 set up to my buddy. I will get over there this week and film said wheelies and well a video showing undeniable clutch slippage.

At which time you can apologize for being in the wrong. ;)

Check youtube, i think i saw one, mighta been the cuda though, but the range stormer will do a real one (non bounce wheelie but straight off the line

I also got the frontend in the air long enough to take a pic of my samba bus doin a wheelie, it's in the "how to power wheelie a cobra 427" thread

Lotus online too, but no one can see them but you.

Stop the Lotus, hol d the brake, floor it, let off brake, watch the front rise. Needs tuning though.

LOL!!! i have similar pics to this... mine come from hitting walls on angles tho :( that car looks like genuine fun my friend.... i will trade you my veyron for it.... PAUSE.....PAUSE.....PAUSE.......NOT!!!!

I was able to do that hitting a wall too. No wheelies in the real sense that I've seen. :indiff:

I remember the Escudo doing it in GT3 or 4, but it was an areo thing too. Front adjusted down all the way and rear up all the way, when you get over 100 and play with the throttle it would just ride up to a wheelie.

But neither Fm3 or Gt5 allow real like wheelies, its the tire traction problem. FM3's tires seem stickier, I can get a ZR1 to hook up in first gear with a 4,000 rpm clutch drop, and floor it by 6,000 rpm and have traction. However in GT5 it seems much harder to launch the ZR1 ( or any RWD sports car) at any RPM and not have wheel spin in 1st gear. This of course is with stock tires and all aids off for both. Hell just trying to replicate a real world 0 to 60 time in GT in any sporty rwd car is almost impossible, seems best when using the onscreen throttle indicator up around 50% which has you car bouncing insanley off the rev limiter, but seems to give a quick launch.

Wheelies just are not a part of sim type racers I think.👍

I think we could float some sleek, extremely powerful cars tuned up to over 100hp in the same method of adjustments. ;)

Once I've tried out flooring the fiat with the X1 ramming it from the front at more than 400 km/h in a long straight, soon it blew off in the air twirling like a huge stone dropping off the verge of something, rather than doing wleelies.

It's possible to wheelie... But not from standing grounds I think...

but THIS has something to do with bouncing...

seems this "physic bug" is only in gt4.

ok when there is a bump in the road you can "wheelie", but its also no real wheelie
so:

no

Hehe yes that one is. The rest of mine I never crashed. I'll get some pics later. I have proof too because it's on the Indy straight.

but this is not really a proof.. if you brake hard the front will go down, when you accelerate.. the front goes up with a "extra boost"

thats for me not a real wheelie, a wheelie is normal from your own power

Yes, my cars are from real power. I only have 3 cars that do bump wheelies.

Ok I managed to get the clutch slipping video.

However I gotta get my buddy to bring his PS3 to my house so he can update GT5. He so far back he doesn't have checks on the car owned in the used dealer.

So once I get him update I will revisit this with a wheelie from a dig slipping the clutch. no bouncing, brakes. Straight gas slip clutch and wheels come up as I get clutch released.

EVERYONE !!!! I THINK IM THE FIRST TO GET A WHEELIE STRAIGHT OFF THE LINE AND I PERFECTED IT MY MERCEDES BENZ LAUNCHES UP ONTO BUMPER OFF THE LINE THEN POWER SHIFTS TO SECOND N HOLDS IT IT ONLY LAUNCHES UP IF U DONT REV B4 U TAKE OFF BUT IF U REV N TAKE OFF IT STILL LIFTS HIGHER THAN THE PINK MERC DOING STOP N GO FAKE WHEELIES MINE DOES THEM RIGHT OFF THE LINE MY PSN IS Ninja-Thats-Me
ADD ME IF U WANT TO TRADE ME FOR THE SETTINGS CAR COMES WITH SETTINGS

My range stormer has been doing that for ages..... It wheelies for about half of the fuji straight. No special launches just floor it and change gear manually and it will wheelie up to about 90 mph (approx 150 kmh for anyone who works that way :p )
