SO I seen the new update coming soon, with changes in aero and ride height characteristics this is going to change the times that our "precious" tuned drag cars run :( .. Will we make a new "post 2.08" leaderboard? Do you think this will affect our drag community and times for the better or for worse??

I already brought this up in another thread. One thing is for sure, I'm not retuning a crap ton of my cars again.

Hopefully it will only involve a downforce and ride height tweak .

The disable collisions though will eliminate ramming in lobbies 👍

Sorry man I didn't see a thread about it? :/ .. But yeah I'm totally with you there :(

No prob. It was just a post lol

Yes, I'm thankful for that. Wondering how it will work.

Well we don't now how much of an effect it'll make, because remember, this is PD we're talking about ;)

I wonder, will it be pre-2.04 times again... I only figured out this after a month here.

Why is everything you type italisized? Bit hard on the eyes

I understand all the hard work you guys put on tuning all those cars, but look at the bright side, when Sony Releases a Patch is to make the game better:tup:

yeah, could be better for some cars worse for others, also ill buy the dlc pack and give you guys the stats of the cars when it comes out so dont worry about checking that.

Yeah, that's what I've been saying/thinking. It shouldn't be too bad of a change, and even if it was, everyone will be in the same boat, so if everyones times are reduced by x.xxx seconds, then nothing should change competition wise online.

What will the disable collision do? Any ideas or we would just have to wait and see.

Literally just that. Will stop people (noobs) from being able to ram others in online lobbies. Probs auto-ghost people as they connect with each other so that the rammer just goes right through the target.

The disable collision feature could be used intentionally to make a pass, even when it should not have been possible. Say a car in front kept blocking your path, then you deliberately ram the car in front, then you just go right through and pass the car in front with no penalty :/

Interesting, I guess well have to wait and see. I think it would be cool if when someone does it purposely it disconnects it from the room but then what if you do it by accident. I guess we're jumping in too many conclusions.

Thats fine with me. I dont like the :censored:holes with slower cars trying to prevent you from passing them. Racing is one thing but being a 🤬 is another.

Change of physics always sucks.

Most drag tunes are at the threshold of traction, small click here and there is the difference maker weather you get a good launch or not. (bog or too much spin)

Only good thing i see is most 3k tunes dont use wings. In that aspect, tunes might not be hit as hard as 1/4 cars that depend more on wings/down force.

I remember you use to try make everything red ;)

I got tired of typing in the BBcode on my PS3 lol

True but it gets annoying. Why can't they just stick to one model and leave it?

Agreed

I just hope it doesn't ruin all the "wheelie" tunes alot of people use for break-ins, let alone the 3K Cerberas :(

You know there's still gonna be noobs trying to line up inside other people then flying around through people saying "what? I'm not hitting anyone" well guess what, I'm still gonna throw your a$$'s right on outta the room lol :D

I thought I was patient....

For the last 4 months up until about 2 weeks ago they were all off my PS3.

Every post Kenny has had is off a PS3. With a DS3 too.

Well if there changing aero and ride height ill be abit pissed because some cars on 3k use aero and i can't be stuffed re tuning them all.

A couple suspension tweaks and a wing adjustment I can deal with, I won't be touching my transmissions.
