I am a clean racer. I don't deliberately ram people, and would rather not gain a place if it takes a harsh move to get it. I also have not done my licenses because they bored the **** out of me. Having the licenses means nothing when it comes to racing other people. If you are of the mentality to drive dirty you will, licenses or not.
I'm lucky enough to have now joined CRAP racing, and had some fantastic hard but fair dicing with them.
Because its a game. Buy a real car and go to a track.
I drive how I want! I paid for the game to do as I please. I spent months of clean driving to just be put in races when everyone drives like its GTA or something.

Eric WTrue, it is only a game. But this doesn't mean that I HAVE to race with you.
I was only saying you in general as someone who doesn't want to race cleanly, not personally.Nobody asked you to?
This is why I'd prefer a license restriction on a lobby over a reputation system. But then again there is no reason why someone reputation couldn't change over time.but say if someone was young and was a terrible driver and decided he wanted to become a clean driver.. his rep would be so bad he wouldn't be able to.
failed system.

People can play this game any way they want. I just want to have the ability in filtering out the individuals that I don't want to race with without resorting to my private lounge.
Kicking the bad drivers isn't the issue. It's tiresome having to back out of a race just to kick someone. The issue is the lack of options we have to prevent the 'Bad' drivers from entering out lobby's. If we had a better system then we wouldn't have to resort to kicking everyone until we have a group of clean drivers.Kick the bad ones add the good ones as friends soon our list of good driving friends ill be big enough
Impatient or aggressive. Some people try to pass whenever they see the opportunity even if it isn't safe to make the pass. I wouldn't call this person a 'dirty' driver unless he wrecking the car in front of him to gain the position and not looking back.Question: i was in a room playing gt500 no settings aloud, there was a guy that was good at driving but he really didn't know how to pass i mean he would just force himself thru the corner or just cut your driving lne to pass you, but when in front he hd a good racing line, how can we call that kind of driver? He wasnt bad at driving just hat he sucks at passing

A licensing system would punish the guy that's been racing online for over a year and who just lost all of his data. Would you blame them if they didn't bother to level up and earn licenses again?

Unfortunately, a "Crash" point system would be difficult to implement especially with high speed tracks like Daytona, Indy, and Route X. I've had plenty of clean, uneventful races here but I've also been the victim of someones else wreck. The way the penalty system in GT5 works right now would also penalize the victim as well as the perpetrator.
Wrecks happen, it's part of racing. It's the "bulldozing", intentional wrecking, and driving backwards on the track that we can do without. That is why I think the license system would be better than nothing. Many, not all, of these individuals can't be bother playing the game correctly or attempting to obtain a license, I've checked.
Yesterday I did kick someone from my lobby because he wanted to use his X1. He was at level 40 with his S class license. Most of the people that I've kicked aren't very high in the leveling system and don't have any type of license.
Restricting lobby by requiring a certain license wouldn't be perfect but it would be better than what we currently have which is nothing.
Grow up.

Many of us are adults and play like adults, not children.Grow up.

I'm and adult and have been driving for 3 years and if I want to race, I take my car to a track.
What you lot don't realise is, GT5 IS A GAME!
All of us realize that this is just a game but that isn't an excuse for someone to behave like a spoiled child in a group of adults even if it is in a virtual world.I'm and adult and have been driving for 3 years and if I want to race, I take my car to a track.

Man has always played games though out history, it's part of human nature.
Video gaming is just another medium for us to play games and isn't just for children; many of us grew up with video games and still enjoy it.
Not everyone has the means to take an actual car to a track to race it.
