No car is rare, except X1s and DLCs. But in UCD refresh terms, yes, it is rare. It's also one of the fastest productions in the game, and at the lowest price (around 60k Cr). You can also get it from a 2000 ticket.

Fun little car for sure. AWD and Mid Engine is pretty lethal. Light weight and decent HP.

The TommyKaira ZZII has to be the best overall supercar in GT5... light, fast, powerful, 4WD, and extremely cheap... its perfect to completely destroy A-Spec mode... I got him early in the game, so I did just that...

Also, it's pretty rare... I've seen 3 times in the UCD... 4 counting the time it was on the OCD... So if you see it... get it... you won't regret it...

only thing rare are some different color set ups on certain cars. veryons,chevelles,fgt's, cars that can't be traded with a certain color.👍

there's almost 400+ variations in the game

And the guys who keep saying DLC and chromeline cars are rare. people ask "Which cars are rare IN THE GAME" not DLC LOL

Yes, the tommy kaira zzii is rare. for what its worth, i've spent the last 2 weeks refreshing the UCD for hours every day and ive only seen the zzii ONCE.

now the guy who i quoted, sure, he has seen it in UCD plenty of times. im not quite sure how the UCD works, sometimes I'll see 2 of the exact same cars, 10 minutes apart, and i can go weeks without ever seeing the car i'm looking for

the reason why the zzii is 'inflated' is because its pretty dominant on the drag strip, only a handful of cars can beat it, so everyone wants it.

but i will tell you this much, i saw the tommykaira zz-s about 100 times before i saw the zzii. in my opinion, yes its rare.
