thanks, definitely gonna be checking that throughout the weekend

... since there is a ford / haas connection already .... ford should hop into f1 with haas!!! i know its wishful thinking but i bet F1 could really use a american team, american engine mfg (i know ford is pretty global these days, but still) and at least one american driver.... too bad rossi got a **** seat when he was in f1...

HAAS has quite a bit to figure, but give him time and he may convince Ford.

for sure, but he seems to be doing alright for a new f1 team... if only he was better at picking drivers, kmag is good but only at times... im over grosjean. stiener is the best but i dont know if its just cause he constantly cracks me up....
 
Personally i think Haas having the 2 drivers they have are holding them way back
 
i was hopping merc woulda let them have ocon in place of grojsean, not a huge ocon fan but i feel he has more talent and is more deserving of an f1 ride than gro....
 
They wont let ocon go to Haas bc they use a Ferrari engine. It's stupid but if I was them I wouldnt let ocon race for the competition either kinda dick swinging contest between the two teams
 
totes, but they'll probably let ocon flounder around in the garages until george russel gets tapped for the seat at merc cause ocon " hasnt been in a car in a while" in a very red bull-esque move,

we can talk NASCAR or indy... wanted rossi to win in tx but newgarden was fast too.... where are they running this weekend in cup Infenion i think?? hell ya....

as cool as he current nascars look they need to get those things off the ground and give them back 900hp... even though i get lowering the HP to attract to motor MFG's its just like Bleh when a corvette makes more power than a NASCAR (even though a street Zr1 has about 250 more hp than any of the cr.5/6/7 race cars ever have had....) also C'mon jimmie j get no.8!!!!

havent followed much WEC or sports car stuff this season and thats usually what im all about... i love the pirelli world challenge series... ive crewed in it a few years back and its just a ton of makes and models and good close racing....

The last thing Ford should do is hop into F1. There is no reason for them to be a part of F1, they don't even sell "cars" anymore. On that note also, F1 is generally quite boring to watch and is not doing as well in the American fanbase as it used to. It would not be a good use of their motorsports money.

Honestly, I would rather see Ford put an engine package together to run in the Indycar series here in America than spend money on a overhyped f1 series.

Those are my opinions on the matter. Lol

thats hard logic to argue... i just dont think chevy could ever do it.... thats why i say(wish) ford.

haha, porsche decided against a 2021 entry cause you know... mercedes(probably more of ferrari whinning than merc) haha... jk that sport(f1) is messed up but man are the cars fast as FFFF

They are fast true. The LMP1 teams in WEC were damn near as fast though but with better racing and less soccer player type of emotions. Sports car racing will always have a home in my heart.

I wish NASCAR would go back to rules used back in 2000 though. I don't really like the way they do things now. I dislike the "stages" bullchit and the whole "playoffs" type of crap they do. Used to be you had to be a consistent driver/team to do some winning. Now thats not the case. And they also need the cup cars to hit a dirt track or two like the Trucks do at Eldora.

agreeeeeddddd, even though i wasnt a huge fan of the way the cars looked they raced amazing and hell that was peak nascar in 2000...
i liked play offs at first but am over it.... hate the stages... shorten the races if you want but i would prefer a phantom caution than a "stage" or if they did stages, dont throw a yellow... even as a JJ fan i dont think he deserved no.7 that was so carls championship to win. not that jimmie did anything to carl, that was all logano, jj just happened to be in the right place.

im glad indy figured out there package... have loved watching them wrestle those cars into and outa turns... i think they are the best show this year when it comes to car speed, challenge, looks, and competition... hopefully they go north of 900hp soon as its been in the rumor mills for a while now...
 
I get the new NASCAR package. It's producing some really good racing. The Coke 600 was awesome. But I don't believe they had to cut 350hp from them. The Y2K package won't work on current cars.

It produces good races from race to race but it also produces a crap championship.

The coke 600 was good but the few after it haven’t been. And I don’t think they’ll ever get them back off the ground just because race car.
