"Kazunori Yamauchi revealed that the game had cost $60 million as of last November. "

$59 Million of that was spent ferrying KY around to all the car shows and generally pi**ing about/wasting time.

Anyone want to record how fast your 'not available to buy car' around a race track and then load the ghost car on your PS3 when you get home.

No we don't - we just want the friggin game. Now!

If I had the money to buy a new sports car and rag it around a race track every week I wouldn't give a toss waiting for this game but as 99% of the people who buy this game don't have access to a new car and the money to spunk up the wall on track days we'd rather have the game out instead.

God give me strength!!!

Great find. Very interesting.
Nice to read something objectively about GT development without looking through fanboy glasses all the time. 👍

How does this bode for all those who claimed that they knew KY thought like then, wanted what they wanted and they understood him and thus could say what would and wouldn't be in GT5? Is this the kind of thing you knew he wanted?
