Hahahaha! Wayyy off topic! Love the siggy @TexRex :D
It's cool. I tried the F3 this morning briefly with TC down to 1 and I was surprised that I could handle it reasonably well. It's a little loose but it's a race car after all. I may bump it down to 0 tomorrow and see what happens.

The last race in the Senna Challenge is a joke. I can't get any where near gold. Aids on aids off it is just stupidly hard for the average game player. Oh and with aids off or very low my game must be different to everyone else's as soon as I touch the gas the car goes in to donut mode regardless of how hard I press the gas.
Senna challenge filed under "Give it up as it is stupid and can't be done file" I have been on youtube etc and still if I take those lines at the speed the guy on youtube does my car slides off even with aids turned up it will not go around that fast. I have yet to see anyone of my mates do this challenge. Loads say they have but I just can't see how it is done.

On this Challenge with this vehicle you have to drive differently, learn when the power kicks in. On some of the corners you can take nearly or flat.
I did this with TC 3 and automatic gears using a controller so is achievable, for me I braked early then accelerate into the corners, if you judge it right when the turbo comes in you should be exiting the corner, it can be frustrating at times but try to be as smooth as you can and have the car as straight as you can on lower gears.
With the aids reduce them gradually so you can get the feel how the car changes, you'll get there.

Tried all that for ages and still can't get near the time for gold. I just cannot do it so gave up wasting any more time bothering. When I absolute screamed around the track and thought this is quick I was still 5 secs away from gold I just cannot see where I could make 2 secs up never mind 5 secs up on the track. I tried every setting going and all diferent driving styles for the car and fail so it must be my driving isn't up to it hence I quit it.
Good luck to those who stick with it and well done to any who have done it. To PD stop taking the P**S and give me a slider for difficulty. (I will get through to them eventually:lol:).

Stick with it!

If you don't have tons of experience on this track, and if you haven't acheived gold in the S License (Aventador), I promise you'll be surprised where you'll start finding time. If you can save your best lap replays and load them, you'll find it. A couple weeks ago I was doing the WRS TT on this track, and would be up by 2 seconds in early sectors, and my ghost would cream me. Then I'd blow early sectors and make up enough time later to beat my ghost. It's a matter of perfecting each sector individually, and then trying to string all good sector times into one good lap--THAT is the hard part.

There's plenty of time to be made, so keep practicing that track.

Cheers bud but I just can't be bothered to if I am honest. I have spent so much time on it I have grown to dislike it to the point of I can't do it so don't try anymore.
I have completed all the other gt games but maybe it's my age or whatever but on this gt6 I just haven't got the urge to finish it I have done what I can and that will do is my take on it. I know some people will drop there jaws at that comment but I have to be honest. And no I have not got gold with the aventador on the s-licence in fact I don't think I have any gold on s-class licence I just nailed through it be bronze or whatever a pass was good enough to open the next stage of the game for me to try and fail at:lol:
I have 85% game finished and that will do for me. I just cannot do the ones I have regularly spent time on here talking about..Redbull.....Senna last race etc.

I have felt like you sound many times. Put it down for awhile, do other races, then try again in a few weeks. I've had to do that many times. But every time you go around a turn, you learn a little more--often without realizing it. Come back to it later and you might amaze yourself.

Last race on Senna challenge spent 9 hours solid on it and did 1:10.312 and with gold being 1:07.169. I cannot do it simple, I cannot understand how I can get quicker times. In fact I just gave up vowing never to return to it. if I could delete it I would. In fact I might even get my friend to hack my game and remove it. That's how annoyed I am at it.

On the other hand after I gave up on the Senna joke I went back to Goodwood and managed to gold the last one in that redbull thing. I am off to do some golds well try to in the S.Licences. I have got to do them and do the redbull challenge last championship but I get bored with that so it might be a while.

See? You know you'll get it.

Ok, I've turned the aids off. I even put controler sensitivity on -1 and the active steering on mild. I've managed a 43.397. The gold time being 43.1 something. I believe the last corner you brake at before the long stretch and finish line is where i need to make up the time at. Can't find the perfect brake point for that corner. Ugh.

All it takes is practice. I got it eventually, and i was really mad. But it sells for 300k, and can be used in national B!!!! :D

Stage 3 or 4? I've golded everyone but 4. This morning improved my time to within half a second at about 1:07.638 i think.
Stage 4. I don't really care about stage 3, because it only gives you a uniform. I really care about stage 4, because it gives you a free car. #F1FTW
