Ascari 15 minutes Race How Do I Win

I think you've got a little room to add some power to the Nissan GTR R35 TC too. If I remember right, it starts at around 615pp. IF you gear it to around 205mph top end that should give you enough speed and power.

My wife won the 15 minute at the Nurburgring by down tuning a Toyota 7 to 650pp. I think she was getting lap times of around 6:54. I like to build up street cars for races like this, but she prefers to down tune race cars for it. It's all a matter of preference.
I'll have to try adjusting the gearing. Do you have any suggestions on the gearing? I don't have much experience on adjusting the gearing settings. Thanks for the advice.

Did you do any adjusting to the settings of the GT R35 TC to win the N'ring race? I've raced it 3 times only to end up in 3rd place twice and 4th. I was only able to go 2 laps before it finished the 15 minute race. Any tips?
I think my final PP was around 632, just some basic power tunes to give it a bit over stock. Played around with the suspension and LSD to make it similar to the GT5 version.

Honestly if you're having any trouble with the S-Class 650pp "Normal Car Only" races, go with the Light Car Company Rocket. I easily beat every race that required at least one tire change or fuel pickup, as the Rocket is so light it doesn't burn the tires at all and sips fuel. Same goes for a few other of the ultra light cars (Xbow and Cateram). I haven't tried those, but Rocket is a guaranteed win every time, and it handles like a mini-F1 car.

I did it easily in z06 and zr1 corvettes, and the GTS and launch edition Vipers, and the Acura NSX Concept. I had great tire wear with these the corvette Z06 being the best and easiest to win with. The Aston ONE I did with too but needed skid recovery on and had more tire wear too.

I took an FR-S '12 into this and beat it... at the same time, it triggered the David and Goliath trophy while doing so.

go for the Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car, it will interesting if the Long Tail F1 GTR is in the race or yet a RX7 Touring Car.

Well the key is to actually take corners pretty aggressively and try to be consistent. From the replay I took, the lead car runs something like 2:09 for a while and then late in the race starts falling back to 2:11 or even 2:15. As long as you can keep par with the initial part of the race, and then beat the times at 5 minutes left in the race, you'll eventually catch up and cover the 15-20 second lead needed to beat the race.

Speaking of which, in my race the lead car was initially the Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car which was doing 2:11 consistently. Eventually an AI driving the SRT Viper GTS-R overtook the lead and made 2:08 times, but will start slowing down late game.

I've played the Ascari 15 Minutes Race in the International A class races with the Honda HSV-010, Mercedes SLS AMG GT3, and Pagani Huayra 15 Anniversary cars, but I still am unable to win it. I've had several 3rd place and 2nd place finishes only to get beat on the final straightaway coming out of the last turn. These cars I've tried have not been tuned or parts added to them.

What car are you using to place gold in this race? I've searched the threads of this forum, but have found no help.

If you are fed up and want to do it now then the McLaren F1 GT (96?)base model is an easy win. Perhaps too easy? Fully stock, just paint it nice and add your racing number.

Forget all this!!!
I used the LCC Rocket. and it was soooooo much easier.
I was stuck in Ascari and Brands Hatch, and the i decided to use the Rocket.
I for each race, went once to pit stop :)

If this is the 10 lap race around Ascari with normal cars, any fully modified supercar will do :p

Also, you can easily win this race with the Honda/Acura unmodified NSX Concept. Pit once at the end of lap 5 for sport softs and race to the end untroubled

I was having trouble with this race as well...... Until I tried the formula red bull junior. Reduce transmission to 148mph, adjust power down to required pp and increase downforce to about 90% and I managed to win after a few attempts

I have used an F40, the NSX Concept, and most recently Tommy Kaira ZZII. I must say the ZZ is phenomenalle.
I used both tuned (I added stage 3 tuning and custom transmission, Top speed of 225mph) and untuned version of ZZII top speed 211.

One the Apricot Hill 15 mins race with the Shelby Cobra Daytona, not sure how I will get one at ascari, with that one but I'm going to give it a go, it's been a great car so far.

Use a rocket '07... all S class events can be won in very easy fashion using that lil plucky brit car.

Doesnt require fuel or tires during the entire race, just plug along everyone pits but you... First place, every time.

The 15 Minute Race in International A is for 650PP Racecars. Basically GT3 type cars. Racing Hard Tires. There is no tire or fuel consumption.
If the BMW McLaren F1 is in the field, it will be a battle.

In Super Class, there's the 10 Lap Race at Ascari for Supercars. Totally different thing.

I found the first two 15mins races easy enough. But Nordshcleife is impossible. I take the lead before completing the first lap, and from lap 2 it is enjoyable being pressed buy an F1 or GT40 ect in my mirror.
But! As we cross the line for lap 3 there is usually between 15-30 seconds for the clock to announce final lap. I am still in front but as each opponent eventually crosses the line to begin their third lap I get knocked down the numbered positions as they cross the line. No big deal as it seems to be just a bug. (except once when I did finish first but not awarded).
The issue is however when as we start lap 3 my tires stop working..... completely. My cars handling characteristics are unrecognisable. This undriveability seems to last until every straggler opponent has crossed the line to begin the final lap, and then controllability and grip return. As this is happening the first 2 opponents remember how to drive and take of.(because I usually crash during the glitchfest-bugfest-scripted catastrophy)

It is terrible.

V1.04. Tried one race, the last 15minute race that I had previously struggled with. One go in the McLaren F1 GTR, easy win. Yes.

^This^ 👍

And it's a joy to drive...

And now with m new favorite, the Maserati Gran Turismo S. What an Amazing thing it is, so fast out of the corners and it screams like a...a...ummm. well..it' like a 🤬 in the middle of an 🤬 while 🤬 herself. Really quite a bit. :gtpflag:

Just use Lotus Elise Race Car 96, racing hard tires, no need to change at all...... made it funner

Nissan GT-R R35 Touring Car Fully Built. Start on Racing Soft and go as far as possible on those tires then switch to Racing Hard tires to finish off the race. If needed to pit a second time put Racing Soft tires back on for the end.
