Im too exicted, gotta make a thread. Myself and Lee (bee) are going to the Silverstone testing on Tuesday 25th April, thats next week. At the moment we think we will be sitting around bridge corner, great for photos and stuff. Really excited, first time back since 04.

EDIT: and looks like I won't make it. Ash pointed out a fun train ride: flitwick to farringdon, farringdon to marlyebone, marylebone to banbury, banbury brackley, brackley to silverstone.

I THINK NOT! I'll just get flown in by chopper into the centre paddock!
 
I shall try for sound clips, if my girlfriend comes il ask if i can use her camera and superior phone to do so:)

Well, Lee, Suzanne and myself are definatly off to Silverstone tomorrow, bit of a walk down to the circuit from Silverstone town/village, an early wake up to get to Brackley on time, aaaaand thats about it. Gonna be a great day! I will be sure to get a load of sound clips, video clips, pictures etc and will post them as soon as poss!:D
 
I think this is the earliest I've woken up this year... :indiff:
 
Good luck and don't get lost lol. Anyway I would love to go to Silverstone someday to see the F1, anyone want to put down a bet that Ash will be stuck in the car park for hours on end.

Due to a bad car park and lots of rain lol.
 
We are walking from the village of Silverstone to the track. ;) I don't think it will be that too busy either.

I just hope they will be selling merchandise! :dopey:

Hopefully I'll get some good multi-car shots. I think we are going to bridge corner.
 
Also Ash shame you have not saved up to go to the best motorsport event in the world, what I am talking about is Goodwood FOS. Or maybe you are saving up to go this years FOS, oh and tell us if Michael Schumacher's chin drops low at Silverstone lol.

What a day! The V8's are so high pitched :scared: Great day though, got some ok pics, prob go back tomorrow to get some more.

Also, anyone know if an A1GP team is based at Silverstone? There was a large factory building/warehouse with giant A1GP on the side and lots of parking spaces had A1GP on them...either a team is based there or the british round will be Silverstone next season..

Ash I know you probably haven't had much sleep the last few nights but ever think that perhaps the British A1GP team were based there?

Seen any nice cars in the car park while you been there?

[EDIT] I checked the A1 GB team site and the company that runs teh team is based in Banbury, Oxon. I take it back Ash.
 
Haha oh yeah, Team GB, and despite it being Banbury, Banbury isn't too far from Silverstone, Banbury linked us to Silverstone pretty much so maybe they use its facilties a fair bit.

As for cars, a pimped out Ford Ka, Skyline GTR, 911 GT3, Ferrari 355, Lotus Exige (lime green), Many Imprezas, Ferrari 360 Modena. Usual suspects really:D
