aspec and bspec points

Makes you want to try different cars in each race to get the maximum points of 200 per race. It's good fun to try a bunch of differebt cars to see which car gets you the most points. Usually, the more points you recieve for a race, the harder the race, but not always!!

A-spec is when you race, B-spec is when the AI races for you.

ok.. but whats the point of getting those points??? do they unlock cars???

No unlcoking of any kind (unfortunately), just a push by Polphony for more replaybility of the game. Some ignore the points, some like myself want to get the most I can. It's like trying to beat your best lap time on a track, its just for the fun of it!

I just use it as a basis to see what friends of mine are better, and how good they actually are. Obviously if they have more B-Spec than A-Spec, or they have like 200 A-Spec points, but have already completed 80% of the game, than you kinda get a feel as to how they're playing the game, and whether they're worth racing. Sorta anyways, doesn't work that way for all people.
