THE TRIPLE CROWN: The ultimate accolade in motorsport is known as the Triple Crown. ASRS is giving drivers the chance to achieve this goal here all in one league. A driver must win a championship in three forms of professional motorsport to achieve a Triple Crown. The three classes will consist of GT,LMP and OPENWHEEL. A driver can achieve a Triple Crown anytime in his career once he has won all three classes of motorsport. Your journey to the ultimate motorsport achievement begins now!



EVENT SCHEDULE: Race night will be held on Fridays at 8:30 p.m. eastern time (USA) in the club lobby starting with final practice. The race will begin at 9:30 p.m. eastern time (USA). The race will be a timed event lasting 60 mins. Qualifying will be held throughout the week in the club events page. A driver will have 10 mins to run his best lap in the TT. The TT can be ran multiple times to ensure your best lap possible. If you run a superior lap to your previous TT please delete your slower TT from the club events page to avoid confusion. Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. eastern time (USA) will be the end of qualifying for the event. You DO NOT have to run your qualifying setup in the race.
The season will begin with an exhibition race held at a designated track followed by 4 scored events at separate venues. Races will be held every week on Fridays unless posted otherwise on the forum.



EVENT SETTINGS: The race will be a timed event being 60 mins long. In game track times will be posted at the beginning of the season on the Events Schedule page. Here are the settings for the events.

VEHICLE SETTINGS: This is ONE MAKE FULL TUNING league limited by WEIGHT and HORSE POWER. Each car will have its own specs it must be built to that ensure the best competition possible. The engine can be built in any configuration the driver sees fit to meet his needs.



TIRE COMPOUNDS: Each car will have two tire compounds that must be ran during the race. The hardest compound tire must be ran at least 6 FULL LAPS ON TRACK. The in lap and out lap DO NOT count toward the tire that is being lap counted. Tire compounds can change from car to car and will be posted along with the cars specs before each season has began.

RULES: Please treat all drivers with respect both on the forum as well as on the track. If you have any questions about the rules please refer to the Good Race Craft Guide or GTP OLR that can be found in the Clubs and Leagues page of the GTPLANET website. I didn't know the rules will not be an excuse. So take some time to read up on the rules to make this the best experience for us all. If the rules are not followed the driver will be subject to penalty.



QUALITY CONTROL PLAN: Please be aware that the ASRS team of Stewards are always open for suggestions and input from any driver within the league at anytime. The control plan can be found in the forums tab of the club itself. If you have an IR to file against another driver please keep it confidential and send it by personal message to the Stewarding team and remember to always save your replays so you can give a proper time and place the incident occurred. The Stewarding team will be posted here on the forum. Please send your IR(Incident Report) within a 24 hour period that it occurred and be patient with the response from the Stewarding team as it will be reviewed by more than one Steward to insure you get the best results from the Stewarding committee.

HOW TO JOIN: Please feel free to join The Triple Crown Challenge no matter what the skill level, beginners are welcome. From novice to expert ASRS is a great place to develop tuning and driving skills. To join simply follow these instructions.

Step 1: Simply post that you are interested in joining our league and wait for a response from ASRS team member @Chris Kelley.

Step 2: Once a team member has responded please post your PSN,GTP AND COLOR/NUMBER COMBO.

Step 3: Read the Rules and prepare you car to the specs posted on the forum for that particular season.

Step 4: Wait for an invite to the club in GT6 from xWARMACHINE84x.

Step 5: Join the club and prepare yourself to race.

I found that the race seemed way too long for me. was also surprised by Xrad's pace at the end

I see where your coming from. It honestly went very fast for me. I was just so focust on being perfect and proving to myself that I could still match my level of perfomance from GT1. I`m afraid if we shorten the race alot of the strategy may go out the window.
