Hi all, so I have a sort of update. Just elaborates more on what i have already said though.
There will be a patch that deploys at the same time as the two new DLC's on the 10th Nov. It includes a decent number of fixes and also includes some fixes that you guys have asked for since before 1.8

How is it with trophies? My Xbox stats were wiped out before 1.8 patch because somebody doesn't know how to do stuff. But currently I would like to complete some achievements and they look a bit dead. I won championship and nothing. I have silver rating and nothing. Is it normal for Xbox? On PS it looked better but I started few months ago there.

Don’t know a thing about trophies as I have only played single race and online racing.
Don’t think trophies are a big thing in sims so I’d imagine that they’ll be a bolted on afterthought.

What cars is everyone using? I'M A BIG FERRARI GUY, so I originally decided to go with the 488. But I'm usually always good for a couple of muck-ups a race, so I decided to do some testing today. The 720 is more the same. Bentley and Vantage were just meh to drive. The Lambo was impossible to see out of. BMW felt equally awkward in cockpit view. Decided to test the Porsche on a whim, despite hearing how twitchy it was. I think I found my happy spot. Still handles like an MR, except it isn't super unforgiving when attacking kerbs. Still trying to get the hang of pit stops. Need to test the rain physics as well. Once I get a handle on those, I think I'm going to start my first custom season as well as a few endurance races. Hoping that some of the inputs and bugs get fixed in the next update

Most all of my fastest lap times are with the Bentley. Which is surprising considering how big it is. I just have to be careful applying the power out of corners as it likes to wiggle it's tail. I also love driving the Porsche. Once I understood how the handling is a little different with it being rear engined it really became one of my favorites. The Ferrari I like, the Audi I like. I agree that the Lambo is hard to see out of but it's a decent drive. The M4 is quickly moving up my list the more I drive it. The Lexus is good.

I haven't driven the old stuff like the Vantage or the Nissan in a long time.

Porsche, Ferrari, McLaren, Audi and Honda.

G29 user here. Ffb seems really weak on the ps5 version. I have the ps4 version and it's much stronger

Try the recommended PC settings for your wheel
Tried all that man and the ps5 recommended settings too. It just doesn't feel good at all. I can move the steering with one finger on any turn while driving at speed.

This game is great but the bugs, zero communication from devs and terrible ffb are the things that have just made me stop playing.

I feel your frustrations. I bought gaming PC recently and ACC is on completely different level. Better FFB, much better graphics, more fps, higher FFB frequency etc. And what is most important much better and bigger racing community. And of course better dev support. Racing games on PS5 are jokes...

    Hi
I have goodnews, and I have news
DLC still launches on Thursday, 5pm UK time is the scheduled time for it to go live, as you know its not always exactly that time so dont panic if its a little after
There is a patch, however it is still being worked on. It will be tight to launch it tomorrow but it is still possible. Chances are if it misses tomorrow it will be Monday. We wont launch it on a Friday. It also means patch notes will come in hot as well

Quite some of the issue fix listed were already fixed in las 2 updates...i don't understand why In hell they introduce "fixes" reported from pre 1.8 update, that got fixed in 1.8 and posterior updates.

Shows perfectly that they don't play and test the game by themselves, well, what to expect if they were working on the update still yesterday evening and they didn't even know if it was launching today.

Happy bug catching console ACC player's "beta" team
