Wh at are your system specs? I have 7 78003d CPU and RTX 4080 Gpu.

Below are my ODT settings:

I have only changed Encode Resolution Width and Encode Bitrate.

And perhaps the most important thing is that I use OpenXR Toolkit Companion app, where you can override the game resolution.

On a completely different headset than yours therefore different software but had a similar issue when converting to open composite with OpenXR. My frame rate had halved. After nearly setting fire to the whole lot I discovered that you have to have Fullscreen ticked in AC video. I might be completely wrong but worth checking maybe.

32gb ddr4 3600, Ryzen-9 5950x, Asus ProArt Nvidia 4080s 16GB , Windows10 still...

I will try that sometime soon... you can get a massive GPU overhead boost and get more immersion (feeling of wearing a helmet ) when you put FOV Tangent multiplier. (GPU workload goes down by over 50% if you set it to 0.85; 0.5 and it still is great for racing)

Using my G2 with open composite, when using PP, most, if not all, my cockpit are very dark, it is a bit track depending, but not much. If I set PP off, my cockpit are normal, I can see the details.
What is your experience? Do you have nice and detailed cockpit with PP, or is it dark like mine?

Mine looks normal. Pure with Pure PPF.
Thank you, very helpfull. I am not using Pure, still on Sol, but it made me think that maybe it was my choice of PPF, Sol_Extra, that was the culprit. I tried Sol PPF instead and that fixed my issue. Actually my dashboard look even better that when not using PP.
Very happy, thank you again for saving the day.

I use Pure with Pure VR PPF with my G2 and these days I can use mostly default settings apart from UI.
I use LCS colour filter which makes things a little lighter maybe but looks more natural to me
