Ok, I'm in. Instructions must be read and apart from a few 'i know best' **** ups it was quite a smooth job.
You were right about the blue broken glass screen...gone.
First reaction, looks clear and not glitchy.
I have kept tool kit active for now although some rendering options are available on steam app.
The only real help I can suggest is that 130% rendering is roughly equal to how you have your toolkit set to if you leave as is.
And follows is the part that drives me mad, fine tuning the hundreds of options to make it as good as I can.
I will try the disturb poo and it will smell aproach for now.

Fantastic, that's very encouraging!
Is it easy to swap between Oasis and OpenXR to benchmark framerates?
I have foveated rendering set in the G2 (and why not when the sweet spot is so small?) so imagine I get some performance boost from that in OpenXR... can that be used with Oasis? This is where things get a little confusing for me.
If Oasis offers even better performance (which has been reported, but was this without OpenXR and the toolkit boosts?) then I'll be a very happy chap.
Great news that the WMR splash screens have gone, they were incredibly annoying.

I have the same foveated rendering as you for the same reason and am pleased to report Openxr and toolkit is all as it was in the display. I have not gone into the toolkit to adjust anything but I see no reason why it won't open. I had an issue removing the steam gpu stats from the display but a ticked box and relaunch fix it. I did use the AC gpu/cpu stats app to check it out and it was fine.

And yes, it should be easy to benchmark with just a button on off switch in steam app for openxr layers.
One interesting option, the ability to remove unseen pixels from outer screen. I know this works because the bottom of my display become bad when I used it. Probably because I already shrunk my vertical FOV

Could not make Oasis work with W10, updated to W11 24h2, worked like charm.
Very happy that WMR is not in the way anymore.
Will work on optimizing, but at this point, performance is at least as good, if not better.
Highly recommended, if only to give a finger to Microsoft.
Long live the Reverb G2. Best VR purchase ever, thank you @Masscot

I am using it, I have no issue with it. I never liked WMR, even despise it, so , for me, Oasis is great. My interface now is Steam VR.
I did not bench mark anything, but, for me, I did not loose any performance, might not have gain either, all I know, is that it works.
What you might ask yourself is what are you trying to gain? If you are ok with WMR, Oasis is not going to disappear and WMR is still good for a while, so why not wait a few more days/weeks, until you have a compelling reason to switch?

I am using it also. No glitches anymore, instant start up with no frills or sounds, maybe better tracking.
Unless I need to tick something, SteamVR must be connected before launching drive in CM
Which is not a problem really.
What i thought was a performance boost I think was wishful thinking.
Clarity has been better until I started to get a few stutters, no problem, turn down the res. in steam, looks just as good.
Until I introduce more cars then more stutter, no problem, turn down the res, looks like it did before Oasis at the end of the day.
I will probably go down the settings rabbit hole at some point.
None of this matters, the headset now has a future

My Open XR settings appear to of transfered over to Oasis. I lowered my vertical size which is still as i set it plus I think i can see my forveated rendering rings. I will check when I get a chance.
Did you press the button on open composite app to use steam? I bet that's the reason it's not working.
