Second to last picture features the E-Tron quattro alongside the "normal" R18 '12 spec (R18 Ultra they call it). Last picture features this car alone.

For a full article on these cars, check this page:

Will Audi have a version of the R18 that caters to people who don't want electric or high-grade? :sly:

Maybe an R18 Premium....

E-TRON QUATTRO reminds me this:

I wonder if the line up of drivers for both cars will be:

Car #1
TRON
CLU
K. FLYNN

Car #2
S. FLYNN
QUORA
A. BRADLEY

:D

Awesome liveries, they should have done this a long time ago instead of the horrible paint job of 2010 for example, but I hate that blatant quattro branding. It's just "bla bla bla" marketing BS to my ears.

Actually surprised that the press release mentions that the electric motor on the front only drives the wheels above 120 km/h.

The livery looks great, I'm just one of the few people who isn't to fond of the R18's looks.. But that isn't really that important.

Hmm, an awd Audi racecar?! Witchcraft.

It looks delicious.

Now it makes sense to call it a Quattro. Now it makes sense...

I'm not really into the car design but the livery looks effing cool especially on the Quattro! But you know, this isn't all that important. What's important is that it must be fast and reliable. Full stop.

That's the part I'm most surprised about as well. I wonder how much of an advantage 4WD will be for LMPs in general, considering how relatively little traction they currently get at low speeds? Especially since tire wear is a major concern in any endurance race.

Thank God I have a reason to root for Audi.

Except if you are talking P1, the reason is they'll be the only real competition this year with Peugeot pulling out. dont know why Audi is spending all this money to compete with themselves. they could win LeMans this year with a couple of 2008 spec R10s

My reason to root for Audi is because I have one. And for that second point, Audi didn't know Pug was going to pull out. My guess is that the car was already made before Peugot pulled out so they just used the car anyway. And we still don't know how Toyota is going to do. My guesses are that it will still be in the development stage.
