Audi new owners of Ducati

I've heard a bunch of complaints that the r8 and the baby lambo(gallardo) are the same car! For about the same bank. But if VW has two of the best selling supercars in the lower end market ($150,000) more power to them in my eyes! Nothing wrong with competing.against you're self.

They're based on the same chassis and have similar engines and running gear, for the top R8 model. In the UK at least, a Gallardo is £150k - the V10 R8 is 'only' £100k. They're not really competitors, the R8 is aimed at 911's where the Gallardo is more of a Ferrari 458 competitor.

Plus its all down to image, a Gallardo has a more premium/rich man look to it than the R8.

How can it have 4 wheel drive, it only has 2 wheels.Unless you mean a 4x4 with a motorbike engine.
