Pardon me if i seem a little giddy. I just won the 24 hours at the newer LeMans! So far I love the handle of the R8....looks cool too.

Anyone who wins a 24 hour race SHOULD be giddy or is that jittery.

This is my favorite car, Tiptronic is so quick on it and it is the newest DSM car on there. I have about 770HP on mine (Turbocharged) and it is my favorite car! I call it "The German Samurai" due to its rear body aeros.

Took the Lemans quattro for a drive a few hours ago, was amazed at how quick it was.

Well... sorta. You see the TopGear episode where they ran that Audi against a recent Evo and it (the Audi) got spanked? You could argue that on tarmac the Audi wasn't entirely in its element but still impressive for sure. Speaking of gonzo Group B cars missing, why no Lancia 037? They got all the others but for the pretty one. Gah.

I dont know about spanked...it did lose. that was 20+ year old car keeping up with a current car. The audis were way ahead of their time. I dont recall if it was a sport quattro (i think it was). The audi pictured in this thread would distroy an evo. Obviously a rally evo would be a different story. I wish ther was the older rally quattros in the game standard rally and the pikes peak rally....wicked fast.

Found the Top Gear vid and yeah, my bad, they used the first-generation, long-wheelbase (and certainly not 1000hp) version of the Quattro.

I just bought the R8. My god what a car! It handles beautifully . As soon as I got it I had to take some pics. Voila.





Although artistically I prefer the first one, the second one has something surreal about it. It seems completely out of place (which it is, I mean its not very often you see somethin' like that). Anyway there you go...
