Hey there!

As the title says, I would like to know which of the Premium Audi R8 LMS is the best one. Performance wise they all seem the same, but when doing the I-A GT3 Challenge today, I noticed that only one stayed on top; that yellow and blue livery one. The rest were all in last.

I would want to know if anyone has given this car a try. I purchased the silver R8 LMS Ultra, but it proved to be not only slow but a real handful.

Also, does anyone have a good setup for this car? I'm happy with my BMW E92 GT2, but I want to give the Audi a try too (it gets boring driving the same car over and over).

Thanks in advanced.

Define handful. For me the LMS Ultra was faster than most GT3s, but it did struggle behind the Team Phoenix LMS (Yellow Blue). I don't have the funds for the Team Phoenix LMS yet, but it is a force to be reckoned with. Maybe driving with a DS3 is a bad idea...

They all perform the same and all are a handful unless you weight balance that pig by adding ballast to the front. The blue and yellow one is the audi sport team Phoenix.

Handful as the car being very nervous. Oversteers a lot, but not the nice type of oversteer. It's more like snap oversteer under braking, when releasing gas or suddenly during the turn, even when the rear tires are fully stuck to the tarmac. And if it's not oversteering, then it understeers. So basically I've been having a hard time finding its neutral point. I haven't had any problems with any car yet except this one.

I use DS3, but thankfully I'm very skillful with it. I've been playing GT like that since the first Dual Shock controller was released. Two analog sticks. Full control over steering, brake and gas inputs.

I'd have to disagree with that. In my opinion, the Pheonix has better pull out of corners, and is easier to control.

All gold in the super licenses gives the Audi Sport Team Pheonix car as the prize car. It can be a bit tricky to drive at times, but I see that as a good thing that makes it more rewarding. A gt3 car shouldn't be easy to drive. And that's with stock tuning as well; a quick tune and I'm sure you could get it to your liking.

I have to assume that was due to AI programming.
There seems to be a monster car in almost every race that stays towards the back of the field when it should be up toward the front.
I'm pretty sure I have several R8s so I'll try to test them out.

The two Audis with liveries seem worse handling than the silver LMS 12.

One of the biggest let downs in the game, they are horrible with DS3, its like you have RH tyres on front and CS on rear.

I'm not going to put ballast on the front because i shouldn't have to and its just not right.

More i think about GT6 the Worse it is, not one single part of it is fully done, everything is half done or broken in some way.

Even the physics seem watered down now, stock cars are good but racing/tuned cars feel 90%+ the same as GT5.

I'll just leave this here if you want to keep using the Audi:

But also this if you want to try the Z4 with his tune for it:

Both are better cars now with these tunes, but I'm still partial to my GT-R GT3, and having since used the BMW M3 GT '11 and the E92 from '10 untuned I've since felt better driving them stock. The others I've driven have had to have been tuned. Last one to try is the SLS, though, so I might be pleasantly surprised by that one.

I tried the Team Phoenix R8 and it seems to be better than the others. However there is still something wrong about it. I decided to give up and keep using my blue M3 GT Base Model.

Bought the black Playstation R8 and an R18 before going on holiday with my winnings from the most recent seasonal's.

After all this negative rep I'm really looking forwards to using it when I get home next week!
