Ok so i hope this isn't something that somebody has asked before cause i have search through the old threads and only found stuff for the RS6. But i need some help tuning the RS4. I am usually a MR kinda of person but i need a car to take on my boys M3 GTR. He has a 1.29.?? posted on Tokyo R246 with his car and I would like to come close to that if not give him a run for his money. So far i have got a 1.34.?? with a downforce adjustment and lowering the car and soft tires. After that i really don't know what to do. 4WD is so much harder to tune then others. So i ask for advice or possible tuning settings for the beast. I am stumped.

If you want a fast four-wheel drive car, first throw the Audi out of the window... :P

Seriously, you'll have a really hard time trying to make that car fast as it's so nose-heavy that understeer will always be there. If four wheel drive is what you want, you'll need a GT-R, as overhyped as they are but experience has shown that they are also wickedly fast. In the right hands even the old R32 tuned to around 500 bhp and running on R3 tyres can take on JGTC GT500 class cars and come out on top.

It might be wise to use traditional FR sports cars though, the Mazda RX-7 (FD) comes to mind as a good choice, as does the Nissan Silvia Spec R Aero (S15). Light cars with a good balance and adequate power output. Even better, if you have managed to obtain the IA licence and not sold the prize car from that, you'll have the Nismo 270R, a very good road rocket.

I didn't actually answer your question, I know, but I hope this is of some help. 👍
