Hello,

I'm new to this game. I have an audi tt with almost every upgrade with the exception of turbo stage 3 and 4 and I still cannot win the 4wd series. is there any particular way I should set the gear ratios?

you may not have the best car for that. I'd check different 4wd cars to use. Try winning a few rally series, to win some rally cars. That might help you. Check ps2.ign.com for what cars you win where

For 4wd races I would recommend Lancer EVO VI or VII, these cars are great to handle and you can tune it to almost 600 bhp.

I had difficulty winning the 4WD race with the TT as well. But I wasn't running very high HP.

The problem with the TT is too much understeer. I think its because of the weight distribution, too much over the front. And this leads to the front tyres wearing very quickly and low cornering speeds.

You should try running thicker rear sway bars than the front. Set the rear to about 2 levels higher than the front. It will definitely handle better.
