If you don't know already, there is a rumor in the car world of a GS-F in development (with the LFA V10), Forza engine swap with some upgrades to suspension, tires, and aero, and we beat the real car world in a video game.
There's not a chance a GS-F will be released with that V10; the price would be outrageous, probably right alongside the LS600, which means a double in price over a GS450. There's really just no market for it.

A V8, sourced from the IS-F, combined a with a supercharger producing around 550Hp would be a much more realistic choice for Lexus to place on the market.

This makes me think of Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3. You could put any common type of engine into anything, as I recall. They had a generic I4, I6, B4, B6, V6, V8, and rotary.

THIS... Would be interesting, Ford Transit with a wailing Rotary engine, Swap out a Ford Ka I-4 (I-3?) for a V8, Make a Charger SRT10 with the Viper motor. More swaps and endless possibilities!

Have you seen a single real world FRS body kit that made you think, "wow, that looks good"?
Me neither.

To be honest, I havent seen any FRS bodykit period.

Got the pack from the race yesterday and let me tell you that Boss irks me with its decals, you can give it the LS body but those freaking stickers on it won't allow you to paint it correctly. Boo The Mustang also has a Roush kit for it, and those god awful Forza muscle car hoods.
And the FR-S has a bunch of body kits, only a few look good though. Really like the Forza wing on it. I got my Britcar paint up and was the second paint in the store for the car behind some ugly ass NfS Red Bull design.
The Lexus has the option of removing the lip spoiler and using a base bumper on the front.
The Camaro has nothing but Forza body parts, including the god awful hoods.
Triumph get that awesome roll hoop with the race roll cage.
And I cant remember what else is in the pack.

Haha just kidding looking at the Ford website the '13 LS package is different from the old one a quick google search pulls up everything is cool here.

I don't think this year's LS package looks anywhere near as good as the last one, but hopefully some tinkering will sort it.

Really looking forward to trying most of these cars tomorrow after work.

Boss includes the Laguna Seca body kit etc.

FR-S also includes a ridiculous selection of body options ;)
Hmm interresting. Cant wait to see the different body kits. If someone has pics of the kits can you post them in here?

I'm looking forward to seeing what options are available for the Lincoln. I'll know in about 12 hours.

The ZL1 and FR-S are fantastic to drive, you have complete control over the rear and how much you want it to step out. The 205 didn't really live up to my expectations but then they might have been a bit too high (I was expecting to drift through hairpins like they did with the rally car). Didn't do much with the C9 but that thing is crazy fast down the straights, I felt it was too slow round the slower bends but it could be the speed getting to me or maybe that's what R1 cars are like.

Great pack, I think I started downloading it within a minute of it becoming available because I was looking through what cars had been added in previous packs and the game refreshed the marketplace and there was the August pack waiting to be downloaded.

A little disappointed we can't make RWD Scion tCs, even with FR-S around.

I have been using will power and resisting all packs after the free ones stopped. I have an eerie feeling there will be an edition with all the dlc included that will end up costing less than buying these packs. I already own the limited edition I got on launch day....this resistance is getting difficult however.

I'm working from home while I wait for the repair man to fix my A/C. I've only taken the Gen Coupe and BR-Z out. Once I get some time, I have my eyes on the Boss 302.

I hope any of y'all do not plan on painting the Boss302.... the stock decals are permanent, and the livery editor is completely whack because of them.

Don't think the FR-S is much of a natural drifter. Even with low friction tyres from the Prius, 200hp isn't enough to get a nice drift out of it. Certainly not what a BMW fan would be used to. It tallies with what EVO said, how it's not at home doing oversteer on demand and sometimes it can feel a little too keen to understeer if you don't enter the corner exactly as you want it to.

But it does carve up the track really well, which is what its primary purpose was. Incredibly light and it really shows through in the game.

I get the feeling T10 spent a little extra time on it, considering how big of a splash PD made with the FT86 in GT5.

I have warmed to it the more I drove it. Shot a quick video clip from Laguna Seca with it and then took it to the NA C-Class championship, where it whipped the butts of Darts, C2 Vettes et al.

It will drift quite happily at times, but it still has that urge to snap out of a drift that's quite disconcerting. Would certainly put me off trying it on the road in the real world.

A bit of corkscrew action.
