I have been using will power and resisting all packs after the free ones stopped...

...this resistance is getting difficult however.
I've been doing the same thing, but I might have to cherrypick the Legacy RS and FR-S. Do they sell small MS points cards? I've been casually looking but only ever see 1600MS ones.

The packs have been pretty good since April, but I'm bored with the tracks in this game so what am I gonna do with more cars? With Horizon on the way I've seen no point in continuing to expand FM4. It sure was nice of them to announce the game right as the Season Pass was expiring.

VXR
I have warmed to it the more I drove it. Shot a quick video clip from Laguna Seca with it and then took it to the NA C-Class championship, where it whipped the butts of Darts, C2 Vettes et al.

It will drift quite happily at times, but it still has that urge to snap out of a drift that's quite disconcerting. Would certainly put me off trying it on the road in the real world.

A bit of corkscrew action.

Is that your very own GT86 RC? *looks at your photo thread*...nm..hah

Yeah, it's that simple to make I'd prefer to do my own. I've been waiting for the car to make it into the game since I first saw that trim package online.

I know they do 800 and I think they do 400 here in the UK. I just looked on Amazon and it seems you have both 400 and 800 over in the US aswell, you don't get as much per penny at the lower amounts but then there isn't a point of buying large amounts if you're not going to use them.

Last from me.

My Laguna Seca. Tried to emulate the '12 model's more aggressive front bumper and wanted the window louvres.

I have an eerie feeling there will be an edition with all the dlc included that will end up costing less than buying these packs.

You're probably right. But is saving a few extra dollars really that important to you? It's worth it to me to spend a couple extra dollars now and have all the cars available to buy, race, and paint.

I may be getting a 1600 MS point card but should i get this pack or download Test Drive Unlimited 2

Sorry, no video here but there are a few pictures, mine has been "fiddled with" because I ... can't resist fiddling. :dopey:

FRS/GT86/BRZ forza quick test

Leguna Seca Laptimes:
AP1 - 1:46.2
FRS - 1:48
NC - 1:50
GTI - 1:50.1

FRS has better body control than the NC but NC feels more grippy and less touchy at the back, while AP1 and FRS feels about equally stiff, FRS has less front end inertia.

(test done with 10% grip reduction and realistic OEM springrate.)

Playing on the 'boat' and 'land yacht' theme, here's my Riva inspired Continental. Note the name and location - 'Horizon' Lakeside, Co. The Lakeside Diner is seen in the E3 trailer.

Does anyone else find the Boss to difficult to handle and terrible at braking? I was really expecting more out of this car and I hope that T10 just managed to get it wrong.

It's a muscle car, what did you expect?

A M3 is not an outright performance car, it's just a more nimble and powerful sedan/coupe, with really economy biased tires in stock form. A STi can best a M3 on most track, so it's not a very tall order.

And the fact the they used a standard M3 which isnt really comparable to the Boss. The M3 GTS is more like the Boss Mustang.

and where did it best an M3 on track?.....................

Laguna Seca.

Everyone needs to chill out. I'm not saying this is a better car than an M3, I'm only using it as a point of comparison.

Well, a faster lap time doesn't mean it handles better or as well.

  • 414 HP vs 444 HP
  • 295 lb-ft vs 380 lb-ft
  • 3,649 lbs 3,631 lbs
Those figures might have played their part, too :dopey:

Anyways, I'm a bit late to the party as I had to fix some connection issues, so I only just downloaded the pack. And my god, do I love the FR-S. Great, great car. And, from what I've seen, competitive as well. It could at least hang with some of my better cars in C and B class - and I have yet to spend a similar amount of time to build and tune it properly 👍
