You do realise HD DVD is dead, right? If you're going to want to be watching any more HD titles released from now on you'll need a Blu-Ray player

The PS3 is worth the money for the Blu-Ray player alone. Since HD DVD is buried now, then keep the PS3. Then when GT5 is released, you can at least rent it to try it out. But I reckon you'll buy it anyway.

I'm happy with the changes.

You can't go wrong with the revised physics, added music, better sounds, etc...

One little small gripe is that they now need to make the supercharger more louder! :)
 
NOT happy with dumbed down physics or the fact that there are no n tyre online races. Disconnects still happen and are not foolproof.Please try again PD.

The disconnects are an annoyance, but I can't see how PD are going to stop a host from quitting a race via he's PS button.
Dedicated servers would certainly stop the host quits.
 
I'm not too sure with the term is scrolling or rolling hosts (or something) where if one host drops off the the server assignes the next player to be the host (all done seamlessly i'd hope) and so on until there's noone left but yourself.Cant remember if it was suggested here or a mate of mine told me about it.
