Australian GT4 Launch date confirmed!

Thats strange!?? alot of shops over here that i know of are doing the midnight release,
Like central park & game planet etc.. will be open at midnight or so they have told me.
Also i have been told by my friend(and few shops) that you can pick GT4 up anytime after 12:00pm on the 10th, don't get me wrong that could just be how its happening over here.

Does anyone know if there are any midnight releases here in Brisbane? I've been phoning all the places in my area and they aren't doing it.

I've heard that JB-HIFI are doing it.. but im not 100% sure.
 
Today while i was in tne city (brisbane). I was jsut about to catch the bus home from uni when a familiar red and blue logo caught my eye. There was this guy wearing a GT4 shirt and a lenyard around his neck with a gt4 logo, and he was carrying a large cardboard box that was long and wide and had a poster of the front cover of the game. So i assume he was delivering an advertisement thingy for the local EB. The two girls walking with him had boxes but they werent closed or sealed and i couldnt see from back there wat was in them, so i dun think its the game. They were also wearing GT4 shirts. Hmm, thursday is approaching :D
 
Did anyone get to have a go at GT4 at the giant merchandising tent at the F1GP in Melbourne last weekend... I did, miss my DFP though as they only had the DS there... Back home in Perth now and counting down.
 
The store I predordered from now has them in stock but cant sell them to me intill the 10th.

Yep same here, I have been down to the store and harped at them but to no avail. Harvey Norman in Ulverstone, Tasmania are having the mid night sale but its over 100 KM away.

I just got a Warehouse flyer in my mail today.. i don't know if it'll be the same over there i don't know. On the front page they have got GT4 and the price is what made me look 3 times just to make sure, its selling for $99.90 (just for the game itself)
Man thats cheap!! i'd say it will be the same over there Australia i'm pretty sure it would be. Just thought i'd let you all know.
Myself, i'm just going to get the store i pre-ordered it from to price match i don't like the Warehouse very much.
 
Well guys, just over 24hrs to go and i'll have my copy of GT4 with DFP: yep, I'm gonna splash out for the bundle @ JB Hi-fi ;-)
Don't actually plan on sleeping Thurs am b4 leaving for work @ 6:30am...

Prolly won't be lurking on this board for a while, so to all of you who have been waiting for.. what is it, 1.5 years??, HAVE FUN!!

Not sure how much you usually pay for games in NZ but $99 is full retail price in Australia, Im paying $89 for mine.

Can someone please post which shops are already selling it in the Sydney CBD? I spoke to JB Hi-Fi and they said it will probably get released on Wednesday.

Also, are their any cheats or easter eggs found for it ?

NEWSFLASH

Just spoke to JB Hifi in City store

They will be selling the game for $79 !

They will also have a the PS2 + GT4 game pack for $289 ! 👍

There will be a midnight release as well at one of the stores.
 
hmm... just got a conflicting story.

apparently another JB Hifi store said the game will be $89.98 and no PS2 +GT4 pack yet ...
 
I get a free GT4 cap (hat) with my GT4 Preorders, but I still have to wait till tommorrow.
 
OK, here's the deal..

JB Hi-Fi in LEICHHARDT (Norton st) are having the midnight sale, along with the special on the DFP bundle.
That is CONFIRMED
As for the other stores....
You may wanna check your local HN as well, they usually have midnight sales for a release like GT4..
 
The cheapest place I know of so far is DodoWorld at $79. I'm just going to go to EB's and ask them to match it.

Anyone else know of cheaper?

I'll grab the game tomorrow afternoon and play it on the weekend I think. Will be trading in GT4P :guilty:
 
Hey guys, i work at David Jones in Castle Hill, and they have it for sale tomorrow, they have the 350Z special pack incl PS2 for $290, and also a special edition Logitech driving force pro wheel WITH GT4 for $200 !!!
 
Does anyone know if there's going to be any midnight sales in Melbourne??.. If so where??
Can't wait for tomorrow.. want it tonight!!!!!!
