If Beast cannot participate one week or is having connection issues then what?

wayne there is a reason why stav does not wish to add stig. there are other members from the SSliders he can join through.
 
Can we plaese make sure we start on time? Cause the F1 is on at 10pm and i aint missing that for anything!!

Your allowed Racing Softs, race will be about an hour long so about 60 laps at Tsukuba, beast can you clear up on pit stops and such?

Also, what about the start of the race, does everyone go off if people don't load or what?
 
sadly stig hasn't told me. i believe the race is going to be around 60 laps. which will last about an hr. tire wear is on and every one is on racing softs. u must pit atleast once and trust me u will pit more then that. Heavy damage is on and no aids besides ABS.
 
ok stig just told me its 65 laps and that everyone please join the room as soon as possible so we can get this all setup and ready.

I'll put a picture up later tonight of the lag issue. i only saw 5 racers too. Which I was suprised when i found out there where really 9... and equally frustrating when you take someone out when you only see clear air in front.

In saying that... I think the people who rage quit and blocked the leaders should not be competing next week...
 
ahh no worrys cause i could see 8 of the people... thought i was decent as i saw every driver in the room that night , even when they came / went i picked it up... my connection just mustnt like beast :)!!! yeah i forgot to save that replay..
 
Yeah lag was a MAJOR issue that race as on the first lap wayne slammed into me causing me to hit Xerks, Stav and a few others giving us all damage (Xerk and me with all wheels and engine damage) and surprisingly wayne you had full damage on my screen but you could still drive it like there was no damage. Hence lag issues.

I know wayne couldn't see me on the track hence the reason for the 2 incidents. However i could see everyone on track. I'd recommend when you host these races in future to ensure everyone clears their network cache in the GT5 menu before joining the room. Helps with lag and issues seeing other drivers. Hopefully preventing and further trouble for you all.

I watched the replay last night and had a bit of a laugh at all the incidents due to lag and people not knowing other cars are around them. Was quite funny.

Well a few drivers have DSQ next to their names so hopefully next race at Trial Mountain shouldn't be an issue... touch wood.
 
Just a reminder it looks like no changed to Trial Mountain.. still this Sunday @ 8...

Though those entered MUST!!!! be in the room no later than 7:45 AEST... So we can have a proper qualifying session.
