Good news beast! You can use ballast

After some tuning and playing around with my racing line I managed a 52.867 with my NSX type R at Tsukuba.
Let us know what times you guys are doing, not only at Tsukuba but at any track!

Just started running-in my NSX-R now! :)

10 laps in and ~20km on the clock, 300km more until peak power! Transmission set to 250 with no adjustments... yet! And what I call my "best guess" setup which currently feels quite average I did a 52.769 on lap 8 👍. My lines are still way off and I'm braking far too early for the three 180 degree corners. I expect before I even tune anything I will be in the low-52s or high-51s... :sly:

Will not likely complete any more laps of Tsukuba during the run-in process as I need some money and with all my B-Spec drivers online and stuck in cyber-space I must do it myself... So I will run the NSX-R in the DCC on RS for a bit of a laugh I expect. Or run the Super GT races on RH or SS tyres... 👍

Xerxes.

Thats flying, Im doing laps around all the tracks now then dividing them by 60 to get roughly the race distance, + factoring in the pit stops. I will finish it after work so the race distances will be up in roughy 4 or so hours. And on my previous effort late last night i did 53 flat buy i needed bed ahha. And your garage stats are impressive. 1678 cars ahaha i got 200 i think??, But there mostly good ones so it ok :)

Well, NSX-R is now run-in just nicely! :)
Have not put down any more laps at Tsukuba since my first 10. However, I did do about 10 laps of Nurburgring GP/F and managed a 1'57.0xx IIRC. There is still alot of time there though with my guessed gear ratios and setup... :nervous: Also completed 9 laps of Nurburgring 24h by racing the DCC race 3 times in the NSX-R! 👍 It is fast enough to win quite comfortably, even with the XJR9 in the field! You just need to push through the twisty stuff to build a gap as you lose ~6-7 seconds a lap on the back straight alone!... :scared: Anyway, I digress, I managed an 8'09.3xx IIRC here but again, gear ratios are guessed as is the setup so much more time to be had! :sly:

Also midjet, how can you possibly say that the online physics are the problem between the two...?
There is no comparison in the realism of the online physics to offline! 👍 Offline if like having SRF on permanently, and just doesn't feel real. You point the car and it goes, no questions asked... Online is much more delicate, you cant just hit the gas and steer it doesn't work and nor does it in real life! :)

Online Physics; Actually challenge drivers, as does real racing (trust me! :)), otherwise the professionals would not be held it such high regard! :sly:
Offline Physics; Beginners mode, for the casual player or girls... :sly: (jk... 👍)

Moreover, the fact that you cannot emulate your times from offline mode in online mode tells you everything you need to know... It is harder, and more realistic, in online physics mode! :)

I have alot of VERY AVERAGE cars in that garage, just in the process of collecting the final few I need now really. Plus alot of doubles owned solely for the paint chips I use for painting my cars... :sly:

52.769 on an average lap? I don't consider myself the greatest driver ever but midjet knows I'm fast. How the hell'd you do that?

my mate waynz did a 52.6 this morning on tsukuba. should be a good race :)

I realised after I posted that, that I'd forgoten to take my gears down from 330 kph.

Ridigity Improvement is now allowed!!!

TORC_Waynz finally getting off my ass and posting

Why the change of heart? If I may ask... :)

Probably because it is impossible to police, the only thing you can control being a race admin is power, weight and grip...

With all that chrome it really doesn't matter where we finish :sly:

about time u showed up u lazy sod :P lol

once the PSN is back up, ill paint my NSX and post up a pic of its Pimpingness :D

Because there will be people with it on their cars either because they already had an NSX with it or they want to have it and don't care what I say.

OK, guys i have a question. Are you going to have a set kilometre distance per race? Like each race goes for as close to 100 kilometres as possible? Or will it be set at an unreachable lap and we race until the 1 hour mark? Just curious, as this is the kind of thing i'm sure everyone wants to know.

It will be a set lap. Once online is back up, me and midjet will go round to each track and do 15 mintues, then write down the amount of laps completed, times it by 4 and maybe add another few minutes.

Im just going to do a lap around each track, at race pace, divide by 60 and compensate for pit stops etc, to get the rough amount of laps. Im going out for a bit though. I have done the first 5 but if anyone wants to help on the last few that will be much appreciated. Cheers :)

This will be my team colours

MIDJET are you going to update the 1st post with all the rules?

Also will there be a team championship and a drivers championship?

Get Midjet.... is it Nurburg GP/F or GP/D?? i would like to know so i can practice on it :)

What's the go with driving aids?

Ok thats good.
Add jezza1 to my team. He;s in

Yet to decide, but I think we're going with no driving aids except ABS

i think no aids besides abs is common place for events like this.
