Auto vs. Manual Transmission

I also use MT only with a DS3. With L2/R2 mapped as brake/acc, square is Gear Up, X is Gear Down. Would prefer a wheel (had a fanatec for GT4 but not compatable with GT5 even with the ps2 adapter) but im used to flicking the gear shift button now and my lap times are waaaaay better. For me alot of the special events and licenses were made with MT in mind and the pros and cons of MT vs AT are very well highlighted in GT5
 
I use AT all the time, if I had a wheel again I would go back to MT though - it's just never done it for me on the controller.

i love at, and irl id never buy a mt so for me at is more realistic.

The automatic transmission in-game is not realistic at all.
And btw, your a very lazy person, no race car has auto tranny. :grumpy:
