Since the race starts 100% wet, Im assuming everyone is going to be on wets to start and qualify?

As race start is 100% wet and qualifying is 100% dry we are allowing you to switch tyres.

So basically qualify RM and start RR

Shouldnt we be doing ssr5 normal instead of reverse ? Because of the pit entry/ exit concerns ?

I couldn't help myself I want to see how bad this pit entry is. Rev like most tracks has a more pleasing feel to it so I like them plus their some what of a new track layout to dissect. I actually can say SSR5 Rev is literally 1 of the few tracks I have not setup for yet in 3yrs now. Time to cross that threshold! The pit entry can't be as worse as Deep Forest was coming out of the hi speed 5th gear left hander. And we pulled that 1 off
 
I just hate reverse tracks , time to learn a new track hopefully ill be lighter
 
How many laps will we be doing? I only ask because if we we are doing the full 42 listed this race is going to be too long with the addional time this weather adds to a lap time.

Joe is going to be adjusting it soon.

Latest i heard he was thinking more like 32 laps
 
Any lap times? Seth said he's in the "high 2 minute range".

Honestly I'm glad to hear that you are down for it. We could of ran it like Formula 1 where right at the 2 hr mark would have been the last lap. I love my expensive wheel but right around 1.5hr to 1.75hr my wheel motors start show signs of stress tho.
 
Just to confirm the race distance is 32 laps.


The primary race room now will be my lounge. We're hoping to solve some connection issues that way

You can qualify on mediums but during the race you can start on any tire you want.

During the race if you go onto slicks and there are enough laps left for hards (8 flying laps, ie: 9 if pit-in-lap is included), you must use hards.

If you do not go onto slicks or if there are not enough laps for hards, any tire goes.
For example, if it is dry and you want to go onto slicks 8 laps from the line, you can use mediums.
