Yep, I said this a week ago. It's good to see somebody who listens.BaronCADDon't try to back-up your game with a different memory card while playing.
I switched memory cards while playing and they "stoled" all my cars, that I had acquired from License Tests.
Need to Back-up at Browser screen.
The default screen when you switch on your PS2.
LaBountiIf this is what happens becasue of memory card tampering(copying ,switching. removing) then you deserve what happens to you. Its not a bug unless it can be repeated.

kenseiYa...that sounds most likely, a memory card thing from switching back and forth, etc. I've had one odd bug in my garage (one car was floating) but in almost 2 months playing the game I've had no others.
Best advice, since you have two memory cards. When you get a game to the point you want to keep your progress and or garage backup your game save to another memory card (in the PS2 menus, NOT GT4) and put that second memory card away (not in your PS2) so you can always fall back out that one just incase. That advice pretty much goes for any computer related thing. Backup your data and backup often.
JBR-ManCopy that.
Be honest and play how the game is made to be played.
n o o d l zSo is it confirmed that this is only a problem for those who "tamper" with the memory cards? This thread really started to scare me even though I only use one memory card...but I may make a backup from the PS2 screen from now on just in case.
vipersanSo GT4 is a real driving Simulator, if your cars can get stolen?![]()
Sik -STo all the Holier than thou who posted in this thread you know where to stick your bunk. People deserve to loose all their cars for simply saving the memory card on second card in case of a corrupt file/card error? Yeah, sure they do! You're a winner. Get a life...
ToyotaDrifterAAHAH, all my cars i won were crapy any who.. couldn't use them in the races EXAMPLE#1: NIKE CAR
SavageEvilsome people should really take note to why they said do not remove the memory card during game play. If you can't just save and reset the damn PS2 to copy your file, then you really need to find something else that will take up even less time to do, it doesn't take that long to do, just do it after you finished playing. It's not that hard. Play the game the way it was meant to be played and save yourself the headaches.
