Avatar not working!

I tried a http: addy first, then uploading it.
It just said something like "This is not a valid GIF or JPG file. Please go back and verify"

And yet, it is working in my forums, and the GTF.

I just did a little expirement, and saved your image file to my computer and then tried to upload it as my avatar. I never had any trouble. However, my computer had renamed the file with a .jpg extension instead of the .JPG extension. Maybe you should try changing the extension to lower case and see if that solves your problem.

Last time i tried that, it went back to .JPG almost immediately.

Like Gigo said, check to make sure you can see your file extensions. Then just rename it to lower case and immediately upload it to the site. You're probably opening it in an image program that keeps renaming the file.

Upload it to a webserver.....the rename it off that.
