We're not able to "fix" anything with Gran Turismo as we're an independent media site and forum with no role in the development of any game nor any connection to any developer or publisher.

That aside, plenty of people have gold - and times much, much better than gold - on this and every other licence test. Perhaps download another player's ghost to follow, or turn on the demo ghost; I'd recommend a 0.3-0.4s offset.

At the risk of annoying anyone, I created an alt account just to to see if maybe something had changed. It doesn't appear so. One attempt.

Got gold on the current physics in 2 tries with gamepad (after cutting too much before Dunlop).



Pretty sure I could have gone faster with Manual gearbox instead of Auto.

Not to forget that getting Gold doesn't give you anything special. You can just go ahead with the next test.

I couldn't recall any Bs being that hard (and again, I've done them on three accounts, under all three major physics iterations) so I hopped back in to check.

24.640 on my first run as I got my memory of it back, 24.255 on my second. If anything, 24.600 is too easy if someone like me can get almost-gold with zero warmup and almost three-tenths' gap on my second run.

23.76x is the world record, so taking WR-to-gold margins of +3% as we see in Time Trials it could perhaps bear to be 24.475 or less.
