B-Spec On Daytona

Getting Really Mad with b-spec on daytona. They always BRAKE CROSSING THE START/FINISH LINE. You don't need to brake at all on DAYTONA

Funny, they want to brake in the Tri-oval. Sometimes in the Nascar championship my level 30+ drivers will do better than me at Daytona, simply because the AI drive like those Star Wars Automated flying drones that shoot intruders.

On other parts of the forum some peole suggest adjusting the break sensitivity to 0. The thought of that made my day.

I did that and it seems to make the braking problem worse!!! Drove me up the wall...almost to the point of not wanting to play GT5 anymore lol

I think the only way I managed to do anything was to give an overtake or pace up command just before the start/finish line. I only noticed it on Nascar and the FGT championships when the loss of speed meant I was losing pace on other similar powered cars.

Yeah, it is actually down to the personality of your BOB. Hire another one and you may well find he does not do it; this was the case with me. Most important thing in this race is to spam pace up / overtake. Also set your spring rate to 18.3 for front and rear and brakes to 0. If you set your brakes at 0, he wont really slow down so long as you keep spamming pace up! You should hit the pace up, just a little bit before the corner.

thanks for the info, i managed to finish the nascar series in b spec. in the championship i won 4 outta 5 i lost at daytona. so i took another driver and he won on the first attepmt without spamming the pace up.

Set your abs to Zero aswell. It helped me:-)
