"For anyone who's not sure how the car sharing thing works, once you send a friend request through PSN and it's accepted, you go into the "Profile" area on the GTLife main page in GT5, then find your new friend's username/avatar, click on that, and you'll see what cars and/or drivers they're sharing. Click on a car, hit the "Borrow" button, and you're set up - you're in their car, ready to go racing. When you're done, you just get into another car in your (or someone else's!) garage, and you're done borrowing that car, until or unless you need it again.
Pretty slick system, really. Wish it were that way for borrowing Bobs as well. Seem you can only borrow those for "Remote Race" events.
I was going to help a couple people out by using their Bobs in the La Sarthe event to level 'em up quite a bit, teaming them with my best guy, but sadly that doesn't work. Bummer."
Would be cool if they added the ability to share bobs in that way, in an update
