Thank You "turbolefty78" for this noob guide to sharing cars.But I have 1 sort of a noob question.When your done borrowing the car,how do you un-borrow it? Thanks for all the info,I am stuck on this race also,I almost won it with my R8 race car,2nd is the best I can get with a 33 bob and a 34 bob.Oh yea,my PSN ID: odie241

There's no need to "unborrow" the cars when you're done with them; when you get into a different car - yours or another borrowed one - you're out of the one you were in, so it's "unborrowed" at that point.

I have ran into some issues tonight.

Both my bobs are lvl 38 but for the life of me, they will spin out even when they are cold.

I don't know where to start, they will take first but gets super hot and causes to slip..

What is the strategy to it?
 
supra725, take note of where on the track your bobs are spinning out at then just before that point toss them a "Pace Down" command. This will have the effect of telling them to take it easy for a bit and they ought to be able to maintain control for those corners.
If you are continuously hamering them with the "Pace Up" and "Overtake" commands, they become reckless very quickly. You have to temper them back down with the other commands to allow them to keep their cool.

Or are you referring to tire wear issues?

^ What he said. My Bob - even my Level 40 Bobs - will almost always have trouble with the Dunlop chicane, the Esses, the Mulsanne corner, and the Porsche curves if I don't cool them down just a bit as they approach these areas.
 
I use two bobs fir the race usually. Bob1 is faster and a little low on the corners. Bob2 is slower but an ace on the turns. Bob 2 is lap8-10 when you need more accuracy on the turns. Bob1 is for when its wet and I keep him chillaxed at about 60%
 
So if I added one of you and borrowed your car once I was done would it be possible to un-friend you?

Sorry to sound so stupid but I'm fairly new to PSN even though I've had my PS3 for 6 months now lol

Send gifts and trade cars

Edit: for example kwicko just added a car to help out those that haven't completed the time trial. I am sharing one as well. Also we both have cars up for the b spec races to for those that still haven't completed it too.

Yes. You can I think highlight the person on the psn main and circle button will bring up other options
 
Anybody willing to let me borrow a 2j or maybe even trade one?

Yes you can unfriend people as above, alot of us need to delete friends to be able to accept more people to trade, with you can have upto 50 friends i think so unless you are near your limit you might as well keep them as friends as they can race your bobs for you if you have shared them.

I just won in the bentley speed 8 quite convincingly with a lvl 39 bob. Car was standard tune but tweaked the final gear to give final speed of 253 mph, max downforce and brake balance to 10/8 to give bob some more brake power ;). Need to be careful in the final few laps into mulsanne though

Oh, man - I feel for ya! That was me last week! I'm not playing much this weekend, but I left the PS3 on in the background, and I'm checking statuses and messages during commercials. :)
