"Aint" = are not. "Aint no" = are not no. So essentially what he said was: there are not no endurance races. Which means they're are. Which is incorrect. :boggled:

I'm fairly certain I'm right on this occasion. Waaaaay of topic, but right. I think. If I'm not, please PM me.
Nope, you started this here, it'll finish here:lol: It's almost over anyway: to take it from your last attempt:
You have to include the rest of the sentence. If taken from cancelling out the two negatives:
"there (are) 2,4,6,12 or 24h races no more." Which is correct. C'mon, you're a smart guy, I have faith in you.

Actually, I think you're right. What a pointless endeavour I've embarked upon . Thank you my learned friend. Now quick, someone say something on topic!

i would love for them to properly bring back B-Spec

ie. Endurance races

the option to drive a stint, PIT, then assign next stint to BOB, then BOB 2 etc. ad infinitum

better team AI?

maybe random mech fail?

dynamic weather?

I don't understand the longing for B-Spec. We have so many reasons to complain about a lack of promised features in a racing game. I don't understand why someone would want to spend HOURS in a game such as GT6 not doing the racing themselves. To each their own. Personally, I hope B-Spec is the last thing PD adds to the game. More tracks and most importantly, bug fixes and accuracy improvements (fix sounds, handling, etc).

Seeing that GT6 is my first go in the series known as Gran Turismo it is very disappointing to get involved at a time when the game creators have seemed to abandon the application. Especially considering their reasoning is most likely to develop for PS4, a platform I do not own nor do I wish to purchase for quite some time.

@ALB123 Just to be clear, I "liked" the first paragraph of your post. The second half makes me sad. It was once a great series, as I'm sure you're aware. Such a shame to have your first go with this one. I'd recommend going back to GT4 (the zenith IMO) but it would be almost archaic in comparison to GT6, physics wise. One can only hope that the series is redeemed come the next release. That way you can experience GT as it should be, come the time you do want a PS4 (when the price is more reasonable for example).

Hopefully PD will have learned that adding features in future updates doesn't sit well with many of us, and will always leave some people wondering when the feature they want is coming, and why their favourite feature was of less importance than someone else's.

For people like myself it's a godsend. I work at home (self-employed) and also have two young children. It simply isn't possible to dedicate hours to racing in the day, but I loved being able to set up a B-Spec race and let it run while I got on with other things around the house. I could pop in occasionally to check on how it was going, maybe ask Bob to speed up if necessary etc.

Then at night with all the chores done and kids asleep I could spend some of the money Bob earned and go and do some real racing!

So that is why I long for B-Spec!

i get the hate for B-Spec

i hated it at first too

my opinion was "why would i want to do this? its like paying a guy to **** your wife because you're too bored for it"... and worse still, he's no good at it

but in reality, i liked directing my guys in the races

i seen some fantastic racing

my guy driving a tuned RUF RGT with about 450hp kept 2 guys in AMG SLSs on 2 laps of the ring

i could never do this, i'm not that good

but i derive a lot of fun setting up races

people say they dont understand it

thats fine, i enjoyed it in GT5 and i'm sure many will enjoy it in GT6

its selfish to say i dont want it because i dont like it

hell, i dont know what shuffle racing is but it seems many guys like it so i'm happy for it to come back

to bad that kind of attitude doesnt extend to people who dont like b-spec

so true. enjoyed using some under-powered road cars to beat the 650pp suzuka race :-) it takes more than just sitting back and giving orders.

Personally, I hope B-spec is the last thing they bring back. There are so many other things that should be worked on first, as mentioned in a hundred or so other threads. This is supposed to be "The real DRIVING simulator" not the real watching simulator... that's what tv is for.

Cheers

B-Spec in the GT5 white paper ie. "grand dream" was that so you could run a Endurance races and then you can cut in at any time

so you drive 20 laps of the ring, you pit and get your AI Bobs to continue... you may have lunch, go to work, come back and then cut in again for another stint, get bored, hand it back your Bob team

in Kaz's mind, it is an awesome thing but like many things, was implemented in a half assed manner

its pretty sad really

I think the lack of B Spec has a lot to do with microtransactions. I used it as a major credit maker in GT-5. I ran a Audi on the Ring unassisted for millions of credits, while watching baseball and hockey. Then I hit level 35, got the Redbull and I farmed more credits (unassisted) than I could ever use. No need to buy any credits, ever!

i suspect they either wont bring it back even though official communication says it will come back

OR

they will bring it back once all the GT Vision is there (5yrs later at this rate!) and GT7 is out on ps4 and the buzz is dead and no more money can be rung out of us

I didn't pay any attention to B-Spec in GT4. Thought it stupid. But decided in 5 to check it out and actually got quite into it. I saw it as "replays that make money", lol. Also, my health some days prevents me from "driving" so B-Spec was great for those days. Eventually I even started "train Bob", Heh.

But yes, I agree with others here. I suspect it'll happen with the other promised content and so will not happen at all at this point. This will of course guarantee that I will never buy a future version of Gran Turismo again even though I been along for the ride ever since 2 and one of it's greatest fans.

We all want more--and especially what was promised--but it's hard to say we haven't gotten our money's worth.

While I completely agree with your point about the value for what was spent, we were still lied to and if this is all they do for the game it would be a matter of integrity and that PD has none and so that alone would be enough for me to no longer support them. I agree that these days people accept lack of integrity and dishonesty as "normal" but I don't and never will.

...but if PD makes it paid DLC this time, will you pay?

That answer is simple. No, because I already did pay for it.
