ok guys...

can someone please explain what b-spec is and how it works??? from what i can tell it's like ur the dude in the pits, telling him how to drive...???

and can someone translate it pls?

What I'd like to know is if this B spec mode is completely seperate from your normal GT mode or if you can do some of the longer races in GT mode using B-spec.

I'll search around but I reckon we should leave this thread for B-spec questions and answers.

Aye, all the other threads were conjecture. No facts from the people who own the game. I'm interested in hearing how it works from someone who's playing it. hehe

Ok ill try my best...
-you are like the pit manager
-you watch the race happen(basicly replay mode, but the race is accualy happening)
-you can choose 5 levels of aggressiveness for your driver and a you can tell your "driver" when to to over take your opponets
-you can speed up the race by 4x(good for endurance races)
-you can choose B-spec before a race or do A-spec and race yourself
...anyone else want to add, feel free...

B-Spec is just allowing the computer to race for u
and u tell them to pit or overtake

B-Spec mode also allow u to enter race without accquiring the required license

ok.. which is the most aggressive?? 1 or 5??

i've figured out that the p means to pit.. but what does the little circuit picture mean??

So basically if you cant be bothered doing some of the races in normal GT mode, you just choose B-spec mode?

Or is there a seperate league of B-spec racing?

No, you can choose the computer to race for you or you can race yourself no leuge ora anything else.
So its quite possible to finish a good part of the game without even racing!
Now thats a feature I'll prolly never use.
Maybe when I restart GT4 for the 5th time around or something. Or a 2hr Model-T enduro or something.

it is actually possible to finish the whole game without racing

u dont even need to get license to race with B-Spec mode

And what's the fun in that? :)

If you don't race, then it's pretty much the same as watching the Speed channel. :)

(Yes, I know that's not what you mean, but that's what I'm thinking! :))

Its an option so if you wish not to you don't have to. I think its great for when your REALLY tired and just need to throw in a couple of more races and those annoying enduros.
