The easiest way to capture backfire pics (not racing mind you) is to start the car in high gear and slowly pull away. Keep flicking up and down through the gears at the same time and your car will spurt flame every few seconds or so!
I came across an inconvenient bug recently. Searched the forums for any information on it, but found none. This seemed an appropriate place to air my grievance! What happened was I saved a few images to "Film" in Photodrive. Some of the photos were of cars backfiring. Upon developing these photos in order to transfer them to the memory stick, I realized, to my immense horror, that the backfire had mysteriously vanished! All that hard work down the tubes
Has this happened to anyone else?
