Bad Racing Habits

I ride up people's rear ends online as a way of intimidation. Yeah I know it's a d*ck move, but funny nonetheless to see a Roadster tailgating a faster car. :sly:

I'm really bad with my braking points. I tend to brake too early and/or brake too hard trying to avoid hitting another car.

1. Following another car (in its slipstream) but this includes if that other car is about to go off-track. The Ai car goes off-track, and if I'm not paying attention, so do I! :dunce:

2. Doing the infamous "spin across the finish line move" to celebrate a win... only to realize I'm on Lap 2/3. :ouch: :banghead:

I don't think i can count how many times I've done this in A-Spec only to keep spinning and then realize that it's the second to last lap and then the second place car (which somehow manages to catch up and pass me even though I was a good 20 to 30 seconds ahead, must be the drifting I do to keep my interest in the race) goes by, then I usually say 'FUUUUUUUUUU" , and almost catch them at the end but come up short, then get mad and hit my head on the steering wheel , lol :banghead: not realy, but I come close

I have a bad habit of following the lines the car ahead of me takes. So in an intense dogfight I'll tend to follow him when he goes off track :dopey:

Sometimes i get a bit of snap oversteer while braking deep into a corner while down shifting. Fun but every now and then i dont catch it and ill be looking the wrong way.

Also, as mentioned above, using the shift marker as a brake indicator. Dont rely on it, especially on familiar tracks but i do peak at it when i caught a slip stream and going faster before the braking point.

Locking brakes. All day, every day. Mistiming my downshifts BECAUSE of said brake locking, all day, every day.

...I think that would anger a mechanic far more than it would a race driver, but then again...eh.

I tend to be a little aggressive when in close racing quarters with other drivers, mostly due to being a bit hard on braking when a car "Taps" their brake in front of me.

Tried playing with the brake balance and LSD? Should help cure your problems, or at least minimise it to a controllable level. Also, modulate the brake pedal with your downshifts. Collectively, this should help.

GT5 is making me a bad driver. The lack of cash makes me bust through cars so that I know I'll finish first. I just cleared 4 million and spent it on a Peugeot — love the car, but now I feel so broke — again.
